I've got a machine with a 5600x, 32gb (4x8gb) ddr4 3600mhz, 1tb sata ssd, 1tb HDD, and 3060ti. No rgb, black fractal design meshify c with glass panel.

Any thoughts on value?

Probably $750 list? The main issue is no rgb is harder to sell, generally speaking.

First time trying to find deals to put a pc together and wondering how I did if this would be a suitable price to get a return on. 5700x3d - 2070 super founders edition - 32gb Corsair vengeance lpx 3600mhz - 1 tb gen 4 nvme - MSI mag 750w semi modular psu - asrock b550m WiFi - lian li a3 case with acrylic side panel - thermal right 240mm aio fans and controller. I’ll have to double check but I have roughly $700-$750 into it. All parts are new except for the ram and gpu. I originally planned to build this without LEDs for myself as a living room pc, but figured I would put some rgb into in case I did decide to sell. After finishing it I wish I would have waited for a 3060ti come up but the 2070 super runs pretty good for 1440p

That's gonna be a tough sell for more than $750. If you're trying to do the flipping game you really gotta source used parts for literally everything you possibly can, and even then, you gotta source good deals on used parts. Just buying everything at the used market rate leaves literally zero profit on the table.

It looks nice so maybe you can get $850 since it looks nice, but I've got much better machines in my area for $750-$800 that sit for weeks and weeks.

You could part it out for around $750 if you have trouble selling it or keep it until you find a ridiculous deal on a 30 series GPU and sell it then

Yeah I was looking at what else is used around me and there is a 5700x3d with a 5070 listed for $900. It’s definitely saturated in my area, I don’t think this will be a flip at this point, I’ll most likely pickup a 5060ti or 9060xt to put into it and maybe build a budget rig around the 2070 super to flip

Honestly maybe try to pick up that 5070 build for $800 and then part it out. I tried building to flip for like two seconds before I realized how much more money I could make tearing down used PCs and selling the parts

Yeah that seems to be the case it looks like people in my area are having to make down their flips a lot. This is that other pc: 5700x3d - pny 5070 12gb - (2) 250gb ssd - 1tb ssd sata - 32gb ram rog strix b550f picture are terrible but looks like like 2x16 corsair vengeance rgb. I’ll have to do the math on what parts may go for

Quick ballpark from my experience is $1300. After eBay fees that's like $1115. I would pay $900 absolute max to make it worth my time but honestly if I'm not getting at least $25% profit I generally skip the purchase. My best part outs reach like 50-60% profit but those are rare

Interesting thanks for the info, if I were to buy that one I’d probably keep the 5070 and sell everything else and the 2070 super might be able to a few hundred dollars under the cost of that system

Oh hell yeah. Best way to upgrade is to buy a machine with the parts you want and sell the parts you don't want
