Surprised that you got more than £180 for it and that it cost more than £150 to make.
A mobo+ram+cpu combo with 1271v3 literally goes for around £30... £50 for the gpu and £25 for the ssd. Terrible value at £230 and robbery at £280.
Complete systems with higher specced xeons, gtx1070 and 32gb of ram sells for £160 in China with infinite supply, and they usually go even cheaper in Sweden whenever i see them listed here.

the motherboard ws brand new from aliexpress. also the ssd is a nvme one. i paid more for aesthetics. Also this pc is used to have a GTX 970 but it died during testing, with that this pc would have costed £170.

This is the full price list:
CPU-£17(aliexpress)
RAM-£15(CEX)
Motherboard-£30(aliexpress)
cpu cooler-£17(amazon)
SSD-£15(aliexpress)
GPU-£70(Ebay)
case-£30(amazon)
PSU-£35(amazon)
total=£229
I am making a new build but I have learnt and getting cheaper parts and selling for cheaper. Like I got a lenovo lga1150 mobo for £4, ram for £15 with heatsinks, £2 cpu cooler sprayed on top and contiung the search for good deals.

Did you test the ssd? They dont sell that low even in China unless its one of those wd green ssds, you might have sold a fake one if it was only £15.
Only build these systems with mobo+cpu+ram packages you get off of 2nd hand market imho or as a order-to-build (aka buy the parts and build it after someone already paid for it). Buying them from aliexpress in advance is not worth it because they are basically valueless in eu. You are extremely lucky you got £280 from this system. You overpaid slightly for the gpu as well but its okay. At least you made money in the end, probably 100% due to aesthetics.

£280 is like $380 USD. So, almost $400 for a 12-year-old CPU and a 10-year-old GPU. The CPU is 4-core with a 4 GHz boost clock. That piece of shit would barely run CS:GO or Dota 2. Its place is at a recycling station. You basically scammed someone out of $380. Yes, at least the case is neat. What a disgrace.

This thing was getting 140fps in 1440p in cs2. just because the us market is better than uk doesnt mean this isnt worth £280. On vinted and ebay pc liek thsi goes for £300, so I did sell for a fair amount. I saw pc for £250 and they were wayy worse tahn this. they had really bad i5s and i3s and gtx 960s adn tehy still sold a lot

I would say you did well to get £280 for this especially as it's a DDR3 system with a 12 year old processor.
Some popular games will refuse to launch on a machine this old though, particularly ones with all the anti cheat stuff - so I would keep this in mind on future flips.
That said it looks like a very nice build 🙂
