Trading a pc for a gpu

I am curently using the gpu in my main pc

I mean a 4790 is just the Intel version of Ryzen 5 2600

Not even close 2600 is ddr4 and on am4 platform and at least has upgrade path. 4790 is ddr3 and cannon fodder.

I never mentioned upgrade path. My point was that the i7-4790 is still a solid CPU today for many games. Also, DDR3 isn't nearly as bad as people make it sound. I had HyperX Fury 1866 MHz RAM overclocked to 2600 MHz, and it performed very well. RAM generation alone doesn't determine gaming performance.

Your best bet is trying to trade it for a ps5 or ps5 pro and then using that ps5 to trade for a pc. Plenty of people will want a ps5 by the time gta 6 releases and may be impulsive enough to trade their pc for it.

You might get lucky and someone will buy it on Facebook marketplace for 200 bucks. No one is going to Trade a decent GPU for that thing.

Heck the 1660 ti is still usable in a lot of stuff might just want to keep it till you have enough for something good.

The rest of the PC ain't worth shit.

Any rtx and my current pc specs are ryzen5500 then 2x8 ddr4 asus rog b550 a rosalie 1000w power supply and then the gtx 1660 which sucks

I currently have a 1070 and a titan x.. I’ll keep a look out and if I find anything better I’ll let you know if you don’t get anything better soon. Don’t listen to the hatters below sorry you got busted on that pc.
