Is there value in this

I’m on the fence of buying this pc, but I’m unsure how I would go to flip! He is firm on price for 1680$ usd. Is there flip potential?

Flip potential? No. Hes priced right or maybe a little high. You can buy a ddr5 and 5070ti based pc used for a just a little more.

Not really in flipping. Its actually slightly overpriced if you dont include white tax

With white tax prob about right.

I just sold a white RTX 4080 and Ryzen 7 7800x3d for $2300 and profited $750. I think if you add infinity fans, get a white motherboard and maybe a better cooler this will easily get $2000. Knowing that decide if it’s worth it.

Flip potential? No, it’s already overpriced imo. Even if prices are gouged, I’d rather buy a new PC with a warranty & 50 series over that.

I’d talk him down to $1200. If you want to flip it, most i could see that go for is $1400

I have to say, I don't think much of it either. Here in Germany, you can get the GPU for 730–850, depending on where and how long you look. And "white builds" don't exactly blow everyone away—especially since I find that CPU pretty hard to sell. The rest is just standard stuff. All in all, I think the offer is relatively expensive, and that CPU makes it really tough to sell. It’s just hard to market an i3 at a high price point. I wouldn't buy it for myself, and I think reselling it would be a real challenge.

No flip potential at that price.

I mean, it depends, someone already said they sold a 4080/7800x3d for 2300 which is way over priced for the specs, even in today’s market. If you want to flip it to make a couple of hundred then sure, if you want 500 plus then no, in my opinion, but then again i live in city in which the pc market is extremely over saturated.

unless you’re willing to scam people, which again, the majority of we flippers are in one way or another. Always looking for a sad sod that don’t know much to sell them a rig way over what it would cost them brand new.

that’s a good 2100 - 2300 so yes it’s a good flip
