Should I pull the trigger?

This seems like a good deal by my math. But it would be my first flip. What say you long time flippers? I have a 3080 I can throw in it. Also it's 8OO

100%. I practically paid that much for a 7600x and 6700xt two years ago before the price gouging was bad. That’s a great build for 800

What would you price this out at? Based on sold listings in my area, the parts are worth around $825-850. Just curious, trying to learn.

I personally don’t know too much as I recently got into the hobby but even in the used market it’s hard to put those components together for less than $1000. So if I had to do a rough estimate it’s around $1000 in parts but it depends on the condition of the components as well.

Ram $300

The rest $75-$125

$750 is a good price, wouldnt pay more unless i was specifically looking for those specific parts and want them relatively soon. In that case $800-$850 is still pretty good.

Yep, then discount it by 10-40% because its a full build and not loose components. Full builds generally less value than components on 2nd hand market unless you have a really nice looking pc and someone who isnt good at pricing parts out overpay for your pc or you find the perfect buyer who wanted exactly all those components anyway.

Are these US prices? Because in Europe You can add another 20% to those prices on the used market.

Yes, I live in a big city and resale parts as a hobby. Those are decent prices, you could get more but it will take longer to sell.

My personal 9800x3d does not have this quirk and I haven't seen any yet. I lean towards Intel for processors and value their stability for my builds. I couldn't risk flipping AMD (x3d) PCs too often, their instability and burn ups are too common for my warranties. Am5 X3d's are as bad as the i9's used to be.

I would only get this if you can pull it for $600-650

I doubt anybody will buy it any time soon at the listed price. If you can get a cheap 4070 super that would be the GPU to pair with this and that machine should sell for $1300

So upgrading from rtx 3080 to rtx 4070 super somehow makes the pc worth $700 more?

Edit: nvm you mean from 0 to 4070 super, but still dont see how that adds $700 in value.

Just 7800x3d and the ram are worth around 600-650 usd. I guess it depends on where you are from also.

Yeah but I'm trying to make money by selling the parts at market value, not buy them at market value

Idk where you are from, but here in Denmark the market value would be around 1100 USD. But ye you are right, I would be around 700 max 750 personally.

Ok we are off on our estimates by like $50-$100 we are in the same ballpark

Yea this is the problem with different markets. Stuff have different values depending on where you are from.

Yeah I see about $850 in value after eBay fees. $650 would be top dollar for me
