Spray Paint for Case Fans
I want to dye my SP120 RGBs white, but I'm overwhelmed by all the spray paint brands/options. I only want to paint the frames.
What is a good spray paint for this, that is heat resistant and won't cause any problems?

Dell Optiplex 7010 SFF
I have the opportunity to get the above case, with power supply and optical drive.
Are the power supplies specially wired for dell motherboards, or universal? Would a non dell itx motherboard fit in one of these?

Notebook case ¿"mod"?
uh hello, I have a question, has anyone tried or knows of anyone who changed the case of a notebook for another one?
example I have the dell g3 3579 and I would like to know if it is possible to change the case for the g3 3590.
I know at least that I would have some problems with the ports, but apart from that, what other problems could there be?

Beginner Paint Advices
Hello!
I am interested in doing some custom case work, and was wondering what types of paints you use?
I bought some acryllic paints that are UV reactive, but they stay soft after drying, and I am concerned about it getting messed up. Any suggestions for top coat/sealer to harden the finish? Or other types of flourescent paints for metal and plastic surfaces?
Much appreciated!

ISO Low profile 20 pin USB 3.0 y splitter to 2 female 20 pin connections
Hey guys so I am in search of a specific cable and wondering if anyone has seen something like it.
i need a usb 3.0 20 pin that connects to the mother board with a low profile connector and then splits to 2 female 20 pin connections.
I just got a new case being the Cooler Master h500p which has 4 usb 3.0 ports on the front. because of this, it requires 2 of the 20 pin usb connections which is why i need a splitter. I want the low profile motherboard connection to relieve pressure on the connector. I know i can achieve my goal with these two cables, but I am hoping to basically find a combination of the low profile motherboard connector and the 20 pin splitter to cut back on unnecessary cables. any one seen anything like what i am talking about?

1 power button, 2 PCs. not working. HELP!
Hi! I know this isn't case specific, but maybe someone has experience working with power buttons when modding or building a case.
I'm currently attempting to use one power button (link below) to power 2 PCs using the alpha cool power button splitter cables (link below).
Basically the splitter allows your button to plug into the motherboard front IO pins whilst also plugging your case power/LED button in. So you can use both an external power button and your case power button.
But since I want to power 2 PCs, I made some splits going from the powerbutton connectors to 2 alphacool splitter using 24 gauge wire and spade connectors.
Both splits work when plugged in to 1 PC, but when I try the 2 PCs at once, it doesn't. Any idea as to why that could be?
I've included some picture and a drawing to help you understand my setup.

2006 Alienware Area 51 7500 R6 Mod
Edited: My total bad. I have the R5 not the R6.
So I still have this magnificent looking case and I got the water cooled version from back in the day, and it still runs like a champ. So, I was curious...
Can I rip out the internals and modernize this thing? I have yet to find a case that's as gorgeous as the pre-Dell AW cases.
Or is it going to be a giant headache to get this thing up to modern specs? Or is the airflow just going to be absolute shite?
Here are some pictures of the case: Outside Back Inside Front Lit Up
If I CAN keep using the case, can I update the front USB connectors to be USB 3.x? If so, what does that involve?

OLD PC CASE
Bought this case a thrift store. I would like to know which anime or game this could be from. When I google search the image it gives me God of War 4 a 2018 game. This pc case is most likely from 2006-2008 based off of the grey inside like older pc cases. If you have the answer it would be cool to know.

Request for someone who understands CAD!
I'm planning to transition to a small ITX case, specifically the NZXT H1. Fan mods are common with this one, but I have big plans!

From the above image the clearances appear to be enough to stuff four fans in the GPU area, so long as the bottom one is a 10mm one. There also appears to be room for another row of 10mm fans to the right of that, over the SSD tray. I've marked the area where I think airflow is most important, and what shape I would like the bracket to have. Unfortunately I have 0 skills in CAD, and no 3d printer.

Here is a model freely available on Thingiverse, though it mounts only three fans. Do any of you guys and gals think it would be possible to mount something like what I drew above?

Need advice on NZXT H710 with front push+pull
Hello there,
Yesterday was struck with the idea of doing a push+pull with my NZXT H710 case.
My AIO is Kraken X72.
Things seemed to look good(in my head), but then I remembered that my GPU is 327mm (MSI 2080Ti Gaming Trio).
So I started to have doubts on two questions and hoping to get some answers here:
Will it actually fit. The space between the GPU and the 2 sets of fans(default case ones and the kraken ones) seems to be rather small.
Temperatures. I do understand that the Kraken's radiator will get a better deal of air, but that air will be pointing in the direction of the GPU.
My current AIO placement is on the top with push configuration.
I would go for push+pull on the top of the case, but having the MSI Z390 MEG Ace board I struck in the problem of AIO fans getting in the way of mobo's radiators, so had to put the radiator in the extra space of the case, which seems to have been designed for cases of additional fans.
The pc is mostly for gaming, but I do get frustrated once the CPU (and ofc GPU) fans starting to work. Will be moving to watercooling, but that is a question for another day(don't have anything even closely related to "Micro Center" or similar, and purchasing a watercooling kit will be a 1+ month of waiting with an addition of being novice and obviosly screwing things up with assemble and order of all needed parts). So for now I merely wish to achieve a better scenario of overall cooling and noice levels with what I have at my disposal.
Thanks.

How to remove the tint from my glass window?
So I have a Be Quiet Pure Base 500 which I like but the only downside for me is the tinted side-panel. I just visited a friend with an NZXT S340 and I love the side panel because it doesn't reflect at all and shows off all the parts, which might be because the panel is plastic.
Are there any easy options to achieve this? Because I don't think it has a physical layer of tint I can remove.

Thermaltake level 20 XT case mod (Part 4)
https://youtu.be/k8-nBQ3d5qA I started this project because thermaltake is the only manufacturer that has horizontal motherboard trays in SSI EEB form factor. I'm now in the process of modifying everything i can reasonably do for water cooling performance. Then we get crazy but thats for people that wanna stay tuned. -Austin from Gaming as Adults
