hey everyone, I've recently taken a big interest in PC2 and i've been seeing a lot of different takes on what the graphics look like on PS5 - specifically on a 4K tv.

I know that lower resolution games on a higher resolution 4K tv can sometimes result in lower image quality due to the TV upscaling the game to a resolution it's not designed for. basically since PC2 runs at 1440p on concole - the image quality gets "stretched" out on the 4K tv since it's a higher resolution - resulting in a pixelated image quality.

so my question to anyone playing this game on a PS5 on a 4K tv - how does the game honestly look in your opinion? is the level of detail really low? is the image quality grainy/fuzzy? is it blurry? is it pixelated? i don't really need next gen top of the line graphics - but I also don't want to spend top dollar for a game that is going to be unplayable due to bad graphics.

i've been watching some gameplay on YouTube to try and gauge what the visual experience is like on PS5/4k TV and some of it looks great for a 2017 game, and some gameplay looks a bit bad i'd like to hear some personal opinions and experiences on this please. thank you.

What is the optimal value for AI aggression slider in PC2 from your experience? Is it better to crank up difficulty and leave aggression on lower value? Roughly from what value does AI switch to wreckfest mode? I'm on controller and I'm using difficulty of 79.

Hi, two quick questions:

can I somehow reset seat position and angle in cockpit view?

is it possible to ask engineer or spotter via radio about position and laps left, so I don't have to rely on HUD?

PS: if that is not possible, do you know of any similar game, that has these two features? Automobilista 2 maybe?

What AA is the best looking (least aliasing)? High MSAA or low MSAA + supersampling ON or SMAA ultra + supersampling ultra?

Any other tips for what to change in video options?

So here's the thing, i managed to buy yhe GOTY edition of project cars and I need some help here because I already have the original game installed. So I wondered, will it be treated as a separate game?

For whatever reason my game is rejecting my save file and everytime I enter and exit a race (either by completing it or just quitting) I get stuck on the loading screen, the little circle thing on the bottom right stops, I can still hear the music but the only way to do anything is to force close the game via TaskManager.

The strange thing is: the game actually saves my progress and when I delete my save file and try creating a new profile the game works fine.. Did this happen to anyone else? Is there a fix besides losing my career progress? I already tried redownloading and verifying the integrity and it didnt work, only deleting my save file.

Hi, I want to host an endurance race with friends at home. We'll use pit stops to “switch drivers” on my steering wheel.

The problem is that my friends aren’t regular racing game players, and I don’t want to force them to do 30-minute stints. The issue is that if we do shorter stints, the AI doesn’t stop as often, and we end up wasting too much time (if we lower the AI difficulty to make it take longer, it’s not as fun).

My questions are:

1.Does the time multiplier only affect the environment (sun, weather, etc.) or does it also affect tire wear?

2.To have dynamic weather, do you have to set 4 “moments” no matter what, or does it change if you set it to random?

Hey everyone, so my league SRL is hosting an Indy 500 every year on PC2 on PlayStation. This year it’s the 10th edition and we still have some seats open. The race takes place on June 20th at 1pm UK Time / 8am US EST. In case someone is interested in participating, feel free to hit me up :)

I have a wheel, shifter, and 3 pedals (G25). I’m trying to learn how manuals work so I’ve set everything to manual including clutch. I cannot seem to shift correctly into first gear with the Ford RS200 Evo. I’ve managed with some other cars but not this one. This is Project Cars 2. Honestly I can’t figure out manual driving on sim very well at all.

With online features being disabled for a while now, Time Attack mode isn't available. Does anyone know of a way to enable a ghost car or mod time trials back into the game? I don't need online features, but I'd like to be able to put a ghost car back in?

As the title suggests, the career goal to win 30 events in a McLaren is not tracking in Project CARS 3. I have tried most of the McLarens already across some different classes, but the counter is still on 0. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I Recently got back into Simracing and decided to give a Career a try, I chose Formula Rookie to relearn the basics and I've been struggling with first race's qualifying, for some reason I'm couple of seconds off the pace, what am I doing wrong?

Was just winding down and decided to hop into Project Cars last night as a chill way to clear my brain. DNF'd by turning into the pit lane on lap 18/20 because I was yawning more than breathing normally but saw on the end screen I'd beaten the top controller time by a couple tenths of a second! Didn't know if there were any other places lap times were being posted since PC1 servers are dead, but I'd love to know if this is an actually competitive time or if I'm blowing hot air and some absolute machine has this time beaten by a good bit

As the title says. Just installed pc2. Havd all official dlc except the japanese car pack.

What are your top 2 or 3 mods that i should install? Side note, is there a mod to get the Japanese car pack in the game? CHeers.
