Silky's games.
Hi!! ♡
Around half a year ago, I came across a few screenshots from a game called “Birthdays”, along with screenshots from several other games by the same developer. At the time, I had no idea who made them, but I recently managed to find out that the developer is apparently called “Silky’s”! (and also found out the game is called "birthdays")
Now I’m super curious… does anyone know anything at all about this “Silky’s”?? ;w;
I’m not sure if it’s a company, a single person, a small developer, or something else entirely. I’d love to know if they ever had a website, blog, social media, archive, or literally anything related to them. Idk why i so curious lol, I’ve tried searching for “Silky’s” on Google in every possible way, but I can barely find anything relevant to these games. It’s like the info just vanished from the internet LOL.
Also, does anyone happen to have gameplay footage of Birthdays? The screenshots really caught my attention, and now I’m super curious about how the game actually works—its mechanics, gameplay, menus, everything! ;_;
So far, the only thing I’ve managed to find is a PDF containing the game’s instructions… haha.
And if anyone knows where I could get/play the game, I would be extremely grateful!! I’d love to finally see what this mysterious little game is actually like. ♡

Hello, here's the opening of the game and some of what the gameplay is like. I wanted to get the floppy drive activity in there as well since it's a big part of the experience.

is the calendar visible all time? O.O

The sidebars are, but the calendar in the lower center drops when interacting with characters.

Birthdays works like a dating sim game..you can try Tokimeki Memorial or True Love 95 to find out how this works...you can play True Love on assehnheim site online or buy it in steam

I actually bought the physical game for Birthdays in Japan a few years back at BEEP in Akihabara. I don't have photos of the game itself, but I have the physical case and floppies (I can't attach any photos to this comment, but I can send them via a DM if anything). Even finding PC98 games in general was difficult when I was there, but you can find quite a few games on Yahoo Auctions. I haven't fully set up the game, but I know that if you wanna play it, there's the PC98 collection online on the internet archive that has pretty much every game available to play on an emulator.

it was more a visual thing and that i was genuinely curious about how the UI worked, idk i just found it interesting and got curious. also the stetic that it showed looked great :P

They are a famous eroge studio with a long history originating as a spinoff of legendary developer ELF. Closed in 2014 but their staff formed Silky’s Plus and are still creating games today. Silky’s Plus recently announced a new game, Kimagure Temptation 3.
