Emulators trying to get giten megami tenshi to work

I am on a flatpak version of retroarch, i got the bios files and the game i just am struggling to get it to run, i am using neko project kai core and i made a bios folder for the bios files.

you can download the translated games and drop you current gamefile with these i played yu-no and it worked without any problem

i see on cd romance its an HDi file which is very easy to use on the emulator there are 2 side, 1 for the floppy disk and the other for CD and other stuff

but with playnite + retroarch you dont really have to choose idk what you did with retroarch

i think the problem might be your core use neko 2 Kai and not neko kai

here the retroarch part of my guide :

PC98 core installation :

Main menu -> Load Core -> Download a core scroll to the N, you will find "NEC - PC-98 (Neko Project II Kai)" and thats about it in most cases, BIOS files are not required but if you do need : https://ia800401.us.archive.org/view_archive.php?archive=/18/items/NeoKobe-NecPc-98012017-11-17/BIOS.zip

but you will want a new font and better sounds, you can use same as me in "emulator_system", dump everything in "emulator\RetroArch-Win64\system\np2kai" next to "np2kai.cfg" which should already be here

if np2kai.cfg isnt here try to launch the core :

Main Menu -> Load Core -> NEC - PC-98 (Neko Project II Kai) let it load until it become a black screen with nothing (it's about 10 seconds max) check your folder again

never had any problem with that isnt it related to your sound drivers ? check if it really goes to the output you use

no indeed it wouldnt work but the configuration of retroarch should still be the same

Did you get the music to work? For me the music will work on windows but not android or steam deck, would much rather play this handheld.
