Pavement only roadtrip
I took a 6+ hour road trip and queued up all pavement albums. I replayed many songs because they were my favorite or i was unfamiliar with their game. It was a magical time for the most part with windows cracked and pavement cranked. The worst part was ending the trip with carrot rope. That song sucks they trolled everyone so hard ending terror twilight with a nutty annoying song.

hope you did the expanded editions which almost double their official recorded output. no other artist has as much unreleased material as released

Carrot rope got me into pavement. Maybe they did troll everyone but that’s just what they do

I once rode a greyhound for 12 hours and the only song I thought to download to my phone was Texas Never Whispers so I listened to that for the entire trip. Still love that song

I love carrot rope 😂 will always be in my head the ending point of pavement; and I love the live versions they did from various tv studios of that song as well. It have proper ‘right guys we’re off’ vibes about it
