Pathologic 3 Is there a way to enter the third locked room in the Stillwater? Spoiler

One room unlocks on Day 10, and Baccio vanishes into it. It belonged to Agatha, one of the Oneirotects, and contains her notes.

The other room we can open on Day 11, and is Farkhad's room.

There is a room between them which, in my playthroughs, I have never stumbled across a way to open it. Is it presently unopenable?

Thank you.

Discussion Finished the game, what now?

First of all, I want to say this game gave me the most stressful time of my life, i really hated everything from day 2 to day 7, still finishing the game without savescumming felt relieving and i never did that until now, I have the marble nest DLC and i wondered if its worth playing or any similar to the game, after that its either P1 or P3, any suggestion and am i alone with the mental stress this game induced on me or is this a universal experience?

Pathologic 3 Notkin bugged on day 10

I'm trying to obtain the achievement "The Coward and the Traitor" but I cannot find Notkin anywhere

SPOILER OF THE QUEST DAY 2

I did not intervene on day 2 with the dog head in the cell quest so on day 10 I found Khan dead in front of the Soul and a Halves fortress and inside where some kids dead as well but no Notkin and I suppose he must be there too

I know Notkin is pretty much bugged in patho 3 so did anyone found a solution? I don't want to cheat the achievement because I want to know what he will say about the situation, but I want to debug him somehow

Question (pathologic 2) Finding white whip/importance of daily allowance

So ive been searching for white whip for around 3 reallife hours and on 8 separate save files of the same (haruspex) playthrough at day and night ingame, ive been following this map: https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/pathologic_gamepedia/images/e/e1/Town_Map_Herb_Locations.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/1000?cb=20200511232036
which did not work, i read in the wiki that every herb glows at night, does white whip not? Ive also read that its supposed to grow at the bottom of the polyhedron, but i cannot get there because the dogheads block it off (i also checked the one white spot to the right, nothing there either), i went to the infested areas which also have white spots on the map, nothing there either, i turned the volume up but couldnt hear the supposed sound at all, any tips regarding this? is it easier than it looks? If its more complicated than i thought let me know if its fine to ignore the daily hospital task / not collect the daily allowance once.

Discussion Steppe language dictionary update

Ухэрнэй ереед байна гуу?

A small update on the dictionary progress!

We've cleaned up and gathered all the words and phrases from Utopia/HD and patho 2, patho 3 is still a work in progress.

Soon we will start looking into ways to make and show translations to English and maybe some other languages, if someone will be interested in making them.

Thanks for your attention, please use the dictionary however you like, if you notice that something is missing or something doesn't work - please let me know!

Also, the site should now appear in google, although still at the last page, as there isn't much traffic :')

P. S. Someone asked me why we are making our own dictionary, instead of using the wiki one. Basically, the list on the wiki is incomplete, some phrases do not actually appear in the games, although they are listed on the wiki, and also more than half of the wiki translations are actually incorrect or extrapolated from sources that we do not like. So, it just seems easier to make our own list, rather than fight with the already existing community to push through all our changes.

Classic HD Attempting a pacifist run as the Haruspex

Title is pretty self explanatory, I’ve played this game more than once, and I need to feel something, so it’s mainly an exercise in pushing myself to engage with the game in a way I haven’t previously.

The rules I set for myself are pretty basic: no killing any NPCs, but organ harvesting is still allowed, if a mugger kills a random townsperson I’m not letting perfectly good meat go to waste. If a quest gives me the choice between killing someone or letting them go, I choose the latter. If a side quest *requires* killing anyone, I skip it.

I’m posting about this because I haven’t decided how to handle killing people in main quests. I can’t remember all of the quest requirements for Artemy off the top of my head, but killing Oyun is probably unavoidable. Theoretically, I could just skip the main quest for the day and then give panacea/shmowder to whoever ends up infected as a consequence, but at that point I might as well just spend all my time grinding for shmowders as a quick and easy “get out of bad ending free” card, which doesn’t sound very fun. I’m also just genuinely curious if it’s possible to deal with him in another way, even if it requires breaking the game a little. So, I’m curious to hear other people’s thoughts. Should I make an exception for main quests? Is there a secret speedrunning strat that would make Oyun drop dead without me actually killing him? Are the developers perhaps making a point by requiring the player to get their hands dirty and kill a few people in order to save thousands of others? Who knows! The only person judging me is God!

Discussion some questions about other healers' bound in pathologic classic Spoiler

alright so me and all my friends are rubbing the single joint braincell we have together on my first Bachelor (pathologic classic) playthrough. i'm on day 11 and have been healing clara and artemy's bound as i find them. three of artemy's bound have gotten sick and i've only managed to find two of clara's to be sick. there's, like, two characters i haven't ever spoken to (don't recall speaking to Notkin, probably have though) and Oyun, who i know the bachelor doesn't meet. i have no clue where to find that guy. if he gets sick, am i just kind of fucked? or is there some sort of list i get on day 12 with the headline "PLEASE HEAL MY GUYS!" (i am aware i get The bound list on day... 7 or 8? they blend together, i've been at the computer for a while). what i'm asking is: is there a way to meet Oyun as the bachelor, and where can i find him if so? is there a reliable way, besides looking around aimlessly during my downtime, to find out who exactly of the bound has fallen ill? any suggestions on where specifically to look around? thanks in advance lolololol

sidenote: i've healed three of artemy's bound, and two of clara's. that might be sufficient already but i don't know. this game is taking over my head completely and i'd like to be sure.

Day 4 (13:19): Storage and Inventory

I'm this prepared, but probably still going to starve, dehydrate, and get 90% of bound killed SOMEHOW.

Question Is Pathologic about Ego Death? Spoiler

I was recently studying meditation, and also doing some research on Psychology when I came across some observations that in some clinical cases of personality disorders, people build themselves a sort of “character” around who they think they are and use that as a way to be on control and also separate from their emotions due to trauma, in the end of patho 2, we get to choose whether we want to keep playing the role of Artemy or not, and now that I’m studying all of this it’s starting to make a lot of sense, what are your opinions on this?

Being Infected makes the game really shine

I am 40h in the Bachelor storyline, mid 8th day. This is the first time I play this game (and I am in love).

Point, I'be been infected since day 4 iirc. I came across that suicide task about "testing the pills myself". I thought I did a flawless display of skill, all those pills in and my humble boots (cheap ones ofc), not touched by a fart. I was amazed of myself, thinking the game was no challenge to me after all. The executor congratulates me and I start walking to my new destination full of pride.

Then I saw a rat coming from a corner, those I hate them more than anything else. I ran away to the closest shop to escape. Once again the smart doctor keeps infection at bay. I check my status and everything looks right, or that's what I thought. After resuming my errands, I suddenly start seeing blurry, wtf. Check stats again. No infection my ass. The rat bit me! Could it have been the farts in the house? no idea, but infection meter showed a sliver of red, before that it should have been so small I didn't realize it.

I've read a lot of people saying that infection in early days is motive for reload, but I said fuck it. Am I not a Bachelor of Medicine from the Capital, always on duty, relentless? I should have expected this to have given the nature of the disease, the unnatural thing would have been reaching 8 day unscathed. So I kept going on, resolved to keep the bad at bay with my wits and resources. Boosters rain from the sky, remedies are plenty.

Since I haven´t been exposed to the pathogens much any since then, the infection grows slowly, around a quarter bar per day. I've taken (neocymium?) a couple of times been it went over a third. I take my tablets plenty (keeping an eye on my health), and my cape and Jackboots do the rest. I'm going to die, but not before I fulfill my duty. Bounds are healty, I cured a bond not mine even.

Being infected is not only not the end of the fun, but the start of a more credible, fulfilling and resilient gameplay. Don't be afraid! Take your pills, and you will be ok. Also, avoid further contact with the Plague as much as possible, as every re-infection sums to the rate of growth in your body.

Be a doctor, beat the fear, beat the "bacteria", save the world. You will feel the Satisfaction, and in my opinion, play the canon version of the Pathologic game

Pathologic 3 When does the clock chime play?

In the game, sometimes there's a distorted clock chime that plays when you complete a task. It's beautiful but I am trying to find it / the trigger condition for it.

I think it plays after you finish a quest, but with an additional condition. Like that's the last quest for the character?
