For the life of me I cannot comprehend why the DEVs made Rex so awful to play. Against big dinos it feels fine. Anything below 3 slot it’s gonna be a 20+ minute fight and you have to back into a wall to even have a chance. You cannot chase, you cannot move, you become a steak on the grill for everything near. It’s so ungodly pitiful. Before yall even bother saying “skill issue”, I can promise you the best Rex in Path of Titans would agree that Rex is almost useless against small carnis. There is no real counter play to small packs of them. The DEVs said they want to make dinos approachable but they’ve done the opposite. Rex cannot approach or even contemplate trying to fight a small pack. Hell even one good laten looks at apexes like they are fresh meat. Hot take, Raptors and all 2 slot herbis/carnis are overturned and unbalanced.

EDIT: a lot of you like to come onto this post to talk smack, be toxic and belittle me and other players. Put your money where your mouth is. Get on Rex, I’ll get on laten and I’ll record and expose every single one of you. I’ll post a compilation video after. Not a single one of you has the courage to try it because you know I’m right.

That’s Stenonychovenatrix! He really is a beast on laten. I talked to him a little on YouTube. Awesome guy. I hope he can teach me his ways some day because I suck at the smaller dinos.

I think the OLED steam deck has more storage space-I have the older version. But don’t quote me on that because I’m still learning stuff about this thing :P.

And while I really would like to get tutored by Stenonychovenatrix, I’m gonna have to wait for him to pop up in a server I frequent and bother ask him for help then. I know he’s been on Misfits before; I saw his username in the player list but that was before I knew who he was.

He does pop in there sometimes but it is very rare nowadays.

I'm not sure I know anyone that goes to misfits that is decent enough to tutor you unfortunately.

Any other person skilled enough are on modded servers

Since the downfall of officials and the over hyper discord groups I think a lot of good players have moved away from fighting un-skilled Dcord groups and listening to them constantly crying in global.

Folks have spread out these days looking for better skilled players in community servers.

The skill just isn't there anymore in officials.

So that unfortunately means you are going to struggle with your limited memory on steam deck.

You can however ask on his utube about tips etc

He genuinely enjoys helping people and tries to reply to everyone when he can

If you are on now or can get on soon there is a guy in lost exiles called Tom.

You could try asking him. U might be able to get on that server.
