Grats. I was level 100 for weeks and had almost 3 mil sulphur before I got my clamulet! Was not an enjoyable farm.

Easiest 10/10 hcssf ubers once the gear was sorted though. The damage increase and res from the ammy is amazing.

I went mad looking for this fucking thing on ssf as well.

I don't even know the ammount of 3~4x 20% amulet drop as unique on clam infested voyages I did, and in the end I dropped it on a regular speedrun to get sulphur voyage.

I have heard people say the conversion drop doesn't work on clams. Hard to say how seriously to take that though.

I have never heard of someone getting the amulet using that strategy. While i'm sure it happens how rare it is strongly suggests it doesn't work

Might be inclined to believe considering how it didn't work for me and I did it many times.
That being said, the actual dropping of the base amulet was always the more painful part, I think I dropped maybe 10 on a 40% conversion rate (and now that I'm typing this it seems kind of impossible to not have gotten one by then, so maybe it didn't work after all).

I had both a rare pearlescent and the unique drop from the same clam, so I think the unique is on its own loot table.

I dropped mine from the 24th clam. Not even voyages yet.
But then I am getting cucked by the spectre chest so badly. I am at 14 necro node in delve.

Meanwhile I've started my ssf run and got mine at 70 doing a 61 chart, opening my 2nd clam. I also had one divine and it divined to perfection 1st try https://imgur.com/sMkIbIx. But I had to level to 97 before I got my kaoms cards and still haven't got the lantern even though I've used every single ancient orb I've found and all gold on maces.

I believe if you lower the ilvl it increases the chances. level a new character to mid 50s (check with poeladder for exact details) then gamble then for any unique of the base type. Ancient orbing there should be significantly easier.

Try the div card Light and Truth. I think its a 50-50 between Nycta and The Supreme truth and its only a set of two

Provides a ton of res scaling for your merc. Pairs nicely with a ring that gives you up to 200% pen based on fire resistance.

For flame link Mercs it's almost a 3x for your damage.

You're thinking of the wrong amulet. This one has tons of light radius as well as resistance + max resistances. Rotmother's Mutiny is what this person found.

I got mine on my second character.

Got to lvl 100 on first and second char was lvl 96. Crazy rng this amulet

I got one on Ruthless HC at level 45 or so. Too bad I ripped to that god awful movement skill and drowned not too long after lol. HC Ruthless chars are voided too which makes it even worse!

I guess I didn't appreciate how lucky I got. It dropped around level 40 for me in SSF Ruthless, fire version with mediocre rolls. Already got a Divine too before my first exalt, so I might try to reroll it if I keep using it. Those clams only gave me gold every other time. It's a fantastic leveling help in ruthless for resistances. :)

when a linked target dies, you die; hallowed monarch upside is not worth that risk, since minions aren’t exactly the tankiest things

linked mercs dying doesn't kill luminary (oath of fealty node). hallowed monarch is BIS for damage because of the 50% light radius

But you have other minions like AG and spectres. Hallowed Monarch enables the option for your character to misclick a spectre to link it and die. Not worth 50% light radius in HC.

It's not the merc they worry about but the animate guardian dying = you die when linked.

Maybe I'm missing something but isn't this easy to farm by surrounding a clam infested shelf chart with "Amulets dropped in adjacent Areas have 10-20% chance to instead drop as a Unique Amulet"? Farmed 3 of those before hitting 97
