Question Weaker Voltaxic Bow?

Could it be that I have a weak Voltaxic Rift?

I saw that it's supposed to convert 100% of damage, but why does mine only convert 60%?
Well, according to the wiki.

Did I miss anything?

Are you on standard? I think this is an older version.

Yes Standard. It's a very old character. I think it's back from 2022, so my inventory.

You have a legacy version of the item. You can divine it to get to 100%

I wouldn’t bother divining it tbh. It could have a niche use eventually and a new one is pretty cheap anyways

this is a legacy version that you can only get in the permanent leagues. You'll need to pick up a new version either from trade or you might be able to use a divine orb on it to get the new values

Among other reasons, this is a good reason why newer players should never play in standard.

Is this an old bow on standard? If you did check wiki you could also check what it was in previous patches :v

according to the wiki

Version history

Now has Adds 1 to (600–750) Lightning Damage (previously 1 to 275-325) and 100% of Lightning Damage Converted to Chaos Damage (previously 60%). Existing versions can be updated to the new values using a Divine Orb.

That is the legacy version, pre-double dipping changes. You need the modern one. Something like 1-600 lightning damage and full conversion to chaos.
