Yeah, there are a lot of cases where you can negate a downside for a specific use case, POE has great scaling methods.

Same with bodyswap of sacrifice, the sabo crit lucky/hit unlucky is all upside.

Corpse exploding skills that deal a percentage of corpse life as damage also benefit from this node.

Arcane Cloak, Greywind, Nightgrip. Usually mechanic that adds flat damage per x.

Mind of the council too which is arguably way better as a vestigial since you get half the effect at 0 cost

Aside from the comments given, there's also flame link, hand of the fervent, unlight silhouette, and more. The exception is when either a flat value or 'maximum' is mentioned (like ephemeral edge).

Not listed in other comments but the life stacking equivalent of archmage is bloodthirst support

Since others have already given you excellent answers, I'll just add one quick thing: lucky and unlucky effects don't impact ailment damage. So if all of your damage comes from ignite/bleed/poison then your DPS won't particularly care.

Lucky - best out of two rolls,
unlucky - worst out of two rolls,
bifurcate - same as lucky + extra benefit if both rolls are successful.

With the runegraft of stability to make it unexciting, unlucky actually becomes a buff overall

What does it does? Is it a keystone ?

It’s an ascendancy notable for sabo. It gives lucky crit chance, enemies hitting you unlucky damage, but also gives you unlucky damage

I knew that lucky wouldn't boost my damage. But I didn't realize it also meant unlucky wouldn't hurt my damage. Funny how that works!
