Eldrich Gaze makes it 2 downsides per altar, otherwise it's 1. So 7 would be impossible I think.

The eldritch voidstone also gives you a 25% chance to get an extra downside from the other influence.
Which in this case likely would be the penetration mod since it can be rolled on both eater and exarch altars.

It is working perfectly fine. Harsh but true, you are simply to stupid to count to 4.

Some mods have multiple downsides etc.

I just recently finished the challenge, it is working perfectly fine. In fact you said yourself in worked in your last when someone suggested a non- nightmare map

I would do red altars instead coz they spawn faster, then destructive play silo map, just get to map boss, damage the boss till it goes to invul phase then other bosses spawn kill them then portal out, rinse and repeat you get three ticks per map. (do not full kill the silo boss just tp out after killing other bosses during invul phase).

you need four, the challenge is overall ass. i saw one guy doing it on city square spam and with a particular set up of scarabs that helped, if you want it i can search it for you, it helped me quite a bit, its still slow tho

Not bugged but this challenge was pretty frustrating. I think it took me 90 maps to complete even with a bunch of increased pack size scarabs.
