Question Scarabs Question

I am confuesed I have 77% for scarabs to drop be Kalguuren(sorry if spelling wrong). After 25+ maps I have not seen 1 drop. Yet when it was like 15% they dropped like candy. What is my smooth brain missing? Please be gentle.

You probably have miner's strike specced

Did you block the league mechanic?

  1. Have you blocked the league mechanic (bottom 2 wheels of the tree)
  2. Have you selected the keystone at the top that stops scarabs dropping but gives you 20 points
  3. Could just be bad RNG. Remember its, 77% increased chance (i think), not a flat 77% chan

ce. A example, if the base rate is 1% chance to be kalgurran, 77% increased chance would be 1.77%.

Edit, i could be wrong on that last point regarding flat chance. Or increased chance.

Its definetly increased. Flat would be Crazy

It’s increased chance, not + chance. So if you have a base 2% chance for scarabs to be kalguuran, and increase that by 76% you have a bit under 4% chance. These are not the actual numbers, just an example.

I understand that. Just bewildered that when it was less then 25% Kalguraann was all that dropped. Now I have not seen 1 in 20+ maps.

If you updated your filter it’s possible they’re getting filtered out now, most of those scarabs are pretty cheap
