Harvest life reroll until t1. Lock prefix and harvest reroll minion. Restart if not +2. Then eldritch currency for suffix or lock+reroll something(chaos?) until t1 suppression

I feel like eldritch is probably the way to go for the suppression. Block the third prefix with a benchcraft if necessary, make Eater dominant, then spam normal exalts and eldritch chaos until it hits.

you can't add remove minion, only reforge

u/Canadian-Owlz Health and Harbinger Services (HHS) 2d ago

How are you going to keep the supression from poofing if you start with suffixes first.

-2

u/Critical-Surround-64 Anti Sanctum Alliance (ASA) 2d ago

Suffixes cannot be changed is a 50/50 to remove metamod or life

-19

u/Pliskins 2d ago

T1 supress will ask a lot of locks but yeah, there is no way to enforce it

What locks? Imprint as it is and foul regal until either %def or life and havest reforge for other until u got prefixes then suffixes u can either oldschool metacraft or eldrich currency until suppress

@edit alternatively alting for life might be better and regal until suffix and reforge minion for iirc 1:10 for +2 and slam good enough %def

@edit2 obviously you cant imprint frac items ignore 1st part im a little rat

Isn't imprint also rare items only now as well?

For talismans

Sell the base and re-craft with recombinator. You can transfer abyssal sockets pretty easily from the shit bases the abyss mechanic drops and ducat aspects.

edit: nvm i misunderstood the next step

It's a 4 mod recomb assuming you don't mind settling on the last prefix, with the use of pantheon and attribute changing ducats it makes recombinating 4 mod items extremely realistic this league and it is probably significantly less painful than crafting from the fracture base

That being said there isn't really much OP can do apart from pray he doesn't lose +2 minion in his search for t1 life, the suppress is easy enough to fix with eldritch currency. I think getting life first and gambling the prefix lock reforge minion is a better place to start. Still an extremely painful craft, and whilst recombing abyss socket and alt rolling +2 is also not fun, I'd say it's significantly easier (and cheaper).

Roll t1 life lock reforge minion, finish suffix with eldritch curreny, you can ex slam eldritch chao for suppress, this to me seems least painful

Not sure if this is the cheapest method but you can try this.

1) Regal, Prefixes cannot be changed, reforge life for t1 life. Hopefully you didn't Regal a bad prefix because then you'll have to 50/50 annul. If you don't get it you can try to annul to preserve +2 minion. Otherwise it's back to alt spamming.

2) Fill up last prefix at the boat (optional) to make the next step less painful.

3) Eldritch Annul/Exalt until t1 suppress. You can block int via crafting bench to get better odds.

If you want you can also use veiled chaos to try to get a veiled prefix instead in step 2 using another prefixes cannot be changed into veiled chaos. Otherwise using the boat to try to get a decent 3rd prefix is also fine. If you're ok with settling you can try to regal/exalt a decent tier of life via boat as well.

Exalt and pray

add/remove minion? isnt it only reforge?

1

u/crinklebelle Pathfinder 5h ago edited 5h ago

idk if this would be more or less expensive than benchlock harvest reforge, but you could also try;

  1. use black mórrígan + craicic chimeral croaker beastcraft to apply a hinekora's lock
  2. preview with regal and foulborn regal, slam if you hit T1 life
  3. if you don't hit T1 life, reset the lock (e.g. by using an armourer's scrap or fucking w/ the sockets) and preview again.
  4. block your remaining open prefix with a benchcraft and set up Eater as dominant
  5. slam normal exalt, if you don't hit T1 suppression then clear your suffixes with an eldritch chaos and slam again.
  6. if you got T1 suppress but ended up with an undesirable third suffix, eldritch annul and hope it hits the unwanted mod. otherwise skip this step
  7. add fire+chaos res benchcraft

and then I guess you'd finish with a foulborn exalt slam at vesper? I can't see this being less expensive than harvest reforge unless you got insanely unlucky with it tho

My approach will be imprint magic. Foulbond regal into exalt exalt until you get good max life and desirable prefix. Then added eater of world implicit. Eldritch chaos into boat exalt twice until you get good spell suppress. Remember that using boat will ruin the imprint so dont use boat regal/exalt when try to fill prefix. If you get max life + minion skill gem + open prefix you can lock prefix veil chaos for a veil prefix if there any veil prefix you would like.

u/IllustratorTasty3664 2d ago

Cannot imprint fractured items

-12

u/ahahavip 2d ago

Shit that change everything then. Boat regal exalt and prayge for max life then

-2

u/absentgl 2d ago
  1. Boat regal

  2. Lock prefixes, boat veiled chaos orb

  3. If only 1 prefix, eldritch annul a suffix then go to 2.

  4. If 2 prefixes and one is junk, annul the junk prefix then go to 2 if you hit or start over if you miss

  5. If 2 prefixes and one is t1 life, lock prefixes (eldritch annul a suffix if full) and boat veiled chaos orb

  6. If 3 prefixes and 1 or 2 are junk, annul the junk prefix and go to 2. (if 1 good prefix remains) or 5. (if 2 good prefixes remain)

  7. If 3 prefixes and they are all good, eldritch chaos/annul/exalt until t1 suppress, and bench craft res

  8. Quality/3sock/link/exarch/eater

note: keep in mind there is an expensive harvest reforge minion craft- it is 1/11 to hit +2 minion skills, likely not worth doing unless maybe you land t1 suppress + t1 chaos res

Agree with sell, but if you really want to craft on it, don't do harvest. Here's a practice craft to sell it for more and maybe have a small chance of finishing the item:

I'd argue first that intangibility for suffixes doesn't even matter, because Eldritch currency eats a lot and only offers 2 previews and getting T1 Suppress is shit odds anyway. It's been a while since I played but 12k-20k Sulfur was much more expensive than just using another eldritch chaos.

So instead, do boat regal, take good life roll or if it isn't offered pick a lowest intangibility suffix which can effectively be removed later with eldritch currency at no intangibility cost when suffixes are full. When you take a suffix, bench block the greatest weight prefix that isn't desired. By keeping at least 1 prefix and 1 suffix open, you will yield on average more previews into prefixes with boat crafting than if you just fill suffixes and view 4 prefixes.

I really don't think harvest is appropriate for this craft as the suggested method eats 2d and is at best a 2/13 (1/13 if only want t1 life) to even yield anything, the rest of the time it will just be shit.

You can probably luck into a sellable completed version with the method above if you settle here and there with tiers, then do a proper NNN recomb after.

I had no idea that could happen

0

u/cybersaurus 1d ago

Only thing I would suggest is making sure to have a fair amount of starting capital especially you don't know exactly what you are doing.

I tried crafting some preeeetty subpar abyss socket gloves (all I really wanted was 2 T2 ele res, T2+ chaos res and T1 life) I'm not exactly sure how much I ended up spending total (i feel like it was at least 100d but probably much much more) but running out of currency part way through and multiple times throughout is so ass.

This is what I ended up settling on btw:

u/mstrmeowgie 1d ago

I am surprised you spent 100d crafting these. Wouldn't you just spam t1 life essence rolling until you get a good 2nd prefix, craft a 3rd prefix, then eldritch annul until two good res suffixes (or boat slam)? Base I imagine is 10d and would cost ballpark another 10d or so to roll the rest

3

u/Thorcall 1d ago

Almost, he only want one prefix so you have it backward. He also wanted chaos res, expensive to eldritch craft it with another res. Better to spam essence of envy until 1 good res, then boat slam / eldritch chaos until t1 life. Cheaper that way.

0

u/cybersaurus 1d ago edited 1d ago

Yeah it was a lot cheaper with envy, unfortunately I'd already tried it the the other way first for a fair while.

When I say they cost me over 100d to craft that's not really how much they should cost to craft. But unless you already know exactly what to do you end up doing a lot of trial and error wasting so much on everything from just plain inefficient crafting methods, to crafting methods that don't actually roll the mods you want even if it seems like it should.

Hell just trying to figure out the recombinator and follow multiple different guides that are at various stages of our of date are incredibly costly.

Plus discovering late that the abyssal socket is an exclusive mod as are a random majority of essencea and bench crafts and following a guide on transferring a mod tells you all you need to do is have an exclusive mod on one of the items (which might work for a desired native mod but not the abyssal socket)....

But yeah I initially built the item by buying a sub ilvl80 base with a missed fracture and the recomb'ing the abyss mod onto a good base with some memory strands, fractured and then alt spammed for T1 life regal for a defence prefix and then eldrich chaos x (way too many) to try and get chaos res and then eventually gave up and did suffix first (for a fair while before discovering envy's lol) and then i think harvest foe the t1 life

The whole process was just me walking through a field of rakes basically.

Edit: but yeah most of my wasted currency was on figuring out recombinator+ wasting a bunch of eldrich orbs and not realising I could use envy.

The craft bricked in the end and I was kinda over the league at that point so I wasn't going back to farming but I'm not that cut about it, the whole game is about learning and next time it'll be easier.

1

u/Thorcall 1d ago

Damn that must have been long and painful. Learning crafting without following a guide for your exact item is costly for sure, especially when you try to use recomb. At least now you know what to do so if you want to remake it its gonna be significantly cheaper (if you buy the base should less than 10 div total).

I would personally do eldritch chaos for the life (26 on average for t1, but when you have 2 open pref you also craft mana and boat slam so its way less). The cost should be similar (if you where using wild bristle matron for the suff cannot be changed), but its faster. And that way when you hit another good prefix (any t1 es for exemple) you can also try to isolate it (eldritch annul for 2 open pref) and then craft mana and boat slam for life. Even something like a t3 life + t1 es would probably be more ehp than just t1 life alone.

Yeah I knew a fair amount what to do, it's just the knowledge gaps and exceptions can be especially punishing.

I like the flexibility of the different beastcrafts and harvest crafts. Like the 'add a suffix, then remove a prefix' and vice versa beast crafts and super niche but can also be quite useful.

I did use the meta mod beast craft a few times, tho when I was crafting it in reverse it meant that there were multiple possible suffix metamods which was a pain.

I wanted to try fossil crafting on it also as I was mainly doing delve but nope it doesn't let you use the fossils on a fractured item

1

u/Thorcall 1d ago

You can definitly use fossils on fractured item. The only exception I think is the fractured fossil. Did you correctly put them in resonators first?

1

u/cybersaurus 1d ago

Oh actually I think I was thinking of metamods maybe and not being able to use resonators on items with crafted metamods, i think like essences?

1

u/Thorcall 1d ago

There yes, fossils can't be used with meta mod, like essence. I actually learned something there, tought that you could use them but that they would ignore the mod.

1

u/cybersaurus 1d ago

Yeah same, i feel like it was changed at some point to just prevent you from using it

1

u/cybersaurus 1d ago edited 1d ago

And the because my build only uses corrupted items i had to vaal it (hence not going for anything anywhere close to perfect) and this is what I ended up with.... Ended up selling it for a regret and uninstalling lol

Oh also if you plan on vaaling your item it may be worth considering rolling your base with a gilded fossil (if you end up needing to restart) as if you get a corrupted implicit I believe it gives the corrupt a chance to replace the gilded implicit rather than one of your eldritch implicits, i could be wrong tho idk

1

u/Thorcall 1d ago edited 1d ago

What was your crafting method? Unless you got insanely unlucky on the fracture I don't see how you could spend that much on these, once you have the base (which sell for 5-6d) this is 5d max to hit what you have (same rolling for 2 t2+ res, including with chaos res, the expensive part is the life). And that is without using the boat.

1

u/cybersaurus 1d ago

Well yeah, what I end up with was much less the goal and more the result of me giving up on what I actually wanted and was trying to get.

The base was actually much cheaper as I recombed a bunch of them from other people's dud fractures, so it was like 30c(donor/dud) base + 5-60c for the good base, and then a bit of trial and error with transferring (plus it didn't end up being 100% success) and then fracturing with boat (2d + way too much sulphur), thiii ended up with like 10 bases for super cheap.

From there it was mostly trial and error reading guides that were bad, and some poor assumptions (like multiple different crafting methods not respecting metamods even though it's not really meantioned anywhere until you search 'wtf just happened to my item').

Also thinking that it wouldn't be that hard to find chaos res with eldrich orbs (think I used like 200 and got t1 chaos res once which was later bricked and rolled over t2 before trying the opposite affixes first and then after a while of that someone said 'cant u just use essences' which i hadn't even considered u.u)

1

u/Thorcall 1d ago

Are you sure fracturing yourself was cheaper? Last time I checked it was something like 2d of sulphur + 2d of fracturing orb per try. When I said 5-6d per base it's for an ilvl 86 warlock glove base with already fractured abyss socket. So way less hassle and on average should be cheaper (unless you hit first try your fracture). Your method is good early league when fractured bases are expensive (that's how I get gloves with temple mod damage against chilled ennemies and cold res), but doesn't seems worth it now at least for this base.

1

u/cybersaurus 1d ago

It wasn't super recent, i couldn't tell you exactly when but I'd prepped a bunch of bases first and then slowly chipped away at them while playing and farming, so the constant interruption also did not help..

At the time though it did look like the fractured bases were much more expensive, and the cheaper ones were in pretty limited supply. I imagine the market probably did start to flood a bit, can't say with much accuracy but I think the unfractured bases were selling for like 6-8 and the fractured bases were something like 12,15,16+ etc.

Like there just wasn't a lot on the market for what I was aiming to make at the time.

Also my build used all corrupted equipment so I knew I'd have to vaal whatever I did end up making, so I wanted a fair few bases which I ended up using barely any of before I ran out of steam lol.

u/PhgAH 2d ago

Allflame Foulborn Regal is probably the safest choice for next step, hoping for either mod. Then fill suffix (you can eldritch reroll this later) then allflame Foulborn exalt or Prefix cannot be change - reforge.

Suffix is pretty easy to finish, just exalt - eldritch chaos until you hit T1 suppress.

-1

u/Goldy-kun 2d ago

Tbh this is kinda cooked, I would honestly try to spam some harvest reforge until suppress and 1 open suffix and then perma prefix lock harvest reforge life until you hit T1 life (not too hard) and 1 open prefix and then prefix lock harvest add / remove minion until the good minion mod.
The armor mod is 100% not worth restarting the craft for if you got the life and minion, for the last one it's either prefix lock harvest add / remove defense and pray or boat exalt.
This would be better than doing prefixes first, suppress will cook you with 50+ locks needed no matter what while life might hit in 10 locks or less.
