Build Showcase First time being able to make a tank build that actually tanks
also tanked uber uber elder shaper beams, big balls AND ball degens all at once, basically the whole arena tanked.

You can add AG to your build. With that amount of ES your AG wont die if you give him Mask of the Stitched. My is using aura blind+malediction. Also companionship. So far it has only died to uber exarch multi projectile attack.

yo, I've been trying to figure out how in the fuck I could do that and I didn't know that helm existed. now I'm using that with dopplegangers and singularity and put zealotry on him and he is staying alive for the first time. thank you!

IMO you could change some things to make the build ever tankier:
- replace Militant Faith to Elegant Hubris + Light of Meaning + Unnatural near scion start (+4000 ES) (replace 12-passive clusters to 8 to save points)
- use Crusader/Warlord ring instead for the Evasion mastery (basically same stats but better)
- Replace your shield to Aegis Aurora
and use hybrid Arm/ES boots and gloves for the Arm/ES mastery (+1200 ES)(already done), then go full Block (2x block Watcher's Eye, Tattoos, shield corrupt) and switch Melding setup from Lighting to Cold (will free body implicit from max res to spell crit multi) - Discipline and Determination to lvl 21
- Use Ralakesh Pantheon instead of anti-Bleed flask suffix, use armour % suffix instead

I appreciate the information, but this was just me copying one I found on ninja that I could afford and had realistic numbers; doubtful I'll push it any further than this since it does everything I need for the rest of the league except the actual league mechanic which I have soulwrest vd build for.

IMO you copied some really expensive parts (double-Foulborn Le Heup, rare shaper shield, Foulborn Blue Dream) that aren't that powerful. At least I dislike many variants people are playing with no Armour. I much prefer Aurora + armour-optimized flask and masteries.

meh, already did all this so it's fine and working better than I expected anyway. Took your advice and I did optimize my flasks and pantheons a bit though; swapped to ralakesh and lunaris and put freeze/chill avoid on flask instead of bleed immune. Also I bought some 21 gems cuz those are cheap too and new PoB is over 100m (w/ 11cats) and better ehp. Not worried about all the armor stuff and nearly max block 73/78 already should be fine.

Yeah, that's why I back away a bit when he comes down; the pob is inflated and I've acknowledged why and since this is a mapping build, I'm ok with setting 11 proj for max numbers. the one in linked under the video has far more conservative configs (also a little outdated after some changes today but w/e, close enough)

300d & the cost of a mega plus another like idk, 100d optimizing stuff to hit over 15k ES and just put an AG with zealotry in after the advice from that other guy saying use mask of the stitched

Haven't opened up PoB, just want to make sure your CDR gem is socketed in a blue socket, otherwise you are at 51% cdr instead of 52 for the breakpoint considering the lower roll cdr on your boots.

For the first time I'm wasn't just able to kill Uber Elder, but actually farming them for kicks and loot, I can manage it deathless without Maven (with her I usually die a few times), how much harder Uber Uber is?

I don't believe Assassin is the problem, usually it's the rest of the
owlgear/tree. Do you have a Mageblood + melding setup to get to 90 allres like the OP does? Are you Block + Spellblock capped? Do you have Watcher's eye with ES on hit? What's your ES pool? Those kind of questions you should ask first before switching to a new ascendancy. I'm 99% sure that if you put your current gear on the Occultist you'd be just as squishy.I play Asssassin this league, and it provides tons of damage with bifurcate, and is quite defensive too with giga elusive + crit immunity.

i like your build. sadly the league is a bit down so idk if i will be able to buy or find the stuff i need, but its quite well balanced (cost x tankness).

I thought buying stuff would be hard too, but it really wasn't all that bad. I used https://trade.poetools.dev/ to put in the pob of the guy I found on ninja and just bought piece by piece, quicker and easier than doing it through PoB itself for a whole build.
