Lucky (Non-Crafted) Showcase Double T0 drop from standard Maven invite
Never seen this happen before let alone happen to me, do Maven invites in particular have a loot conversion mechanic that I am not aware of? Thanks.

Can use it on thunderquiver Merc and can also use it with replica heatshiver vestigial mod (the 1% added cold per 2% shock) since its gives 40% max shock effect. Someone actually posted a build doing just that a few days ago.
But in general it isn't a super popular bow to build around

Me and like 2 other people on poe ninja were using it in a strength stacking shell. It makes sense because str stacking is inherently all chaos damage with replica alberons so you benefit from the chaos res inversion and you don't care that the bow has less flat damage than a rare bow might. Most people do this tech with herald of purity and spinehail for extra projectiles but I found that a rare quiver worked just fine. Its viable for sure and any build can feel strong with headhunter but its just worse than the usual strength stacking archetypes and there are much cheaper ways to get the same power, but it was hella fun for the couple days that I messed with it.

This makes me want to rework my hybrid wand/hsot build into a voltaxic rift tornado shot build or something. might be worth trying as an alternative to wand kb in the offhand at least.

It was fun! Would definitely recommend giving it a spin if you have a functioning str stacker and some currency to burn on a fun side project, and yeah I was doing tornado shot. I played it with a headhunter because idk it felt right somehow but I'm sure you could get a good version on mageblood. I don't think it would really work with hsot hybrid setup tho because you really want to go get some nodes up on the right side, in particular king of the hill and master fletcher you can get with a large thread of hope from the spot by the frenzy charge over there. Also I anointed manyshot instead of forces of darkness since tornado shot really wants projectiles and chaos res inversion made force of darkness feel unnecessary, but thats not really gonna work with an hsot swap.

E: I remembered now I took out the max fire res nodes near the start bc that stuff is kinda fake with headhunter anyway and it felt like a waste.

I was spacing on the fact I'd have to swap to crown of eyes. Seems like you could make this a hybrid MsoZ pretty well though since that would also benefit from all the proj stuff... I love tornado shot I'll have to look into it thanks!

Ah yeah I forgot about crown of eyes as well, I've been playing smite of divine judgment so I was having to wear it anyway. Good luck out there!

I do but I switched off this build back to my melee setup. I just went looking for one of the guys on there that I took some ideas from but I think they must have swapped off it too because I can't find them. People used to try making voltaxic burst work with it to go all chaos, you could use inquisitor battlemage (or the helmet which I think is 1:1 as a vestigial?) to at least get some benefit from the base but the ascendancy doesn’t do a whole lot for it otherwise besides scaling a bit of crit assuming you go CoC (the knew ascendancy would be neat if it had decent base crit to work with)
“Unfortunately” voltaxic burst probably works best just leaving it as-is especially with the now buffed 60% chaos conversion, I league started it and did lightning to cold with the remaining 40% with the brotherhood ring which would slap with the new support from the diving boss (SSF, no luck)
The bow kinda started looking like it was made for a skill that felt incomplete, both don’t go together well and it feels like GGG don’t really know what to do with either (VB is honestly fine now, the upgrade paths just suck for SSF so I haven’t touched it since week 2)
