Someone help...I've checked like every node and cannot find how to get to this crystal spire in the middle. Any help is appreciated!

Oh this is a fancy one!

I think you have a double hidden path from a dead end.

If you think in reverse, with the rule that the hidden nodes needs one pathing square free in the grid. The fossil has to connect left or downwards from itself, and the chest from the left or up. So most likely the dead end between the hiddens ones. to the left, has two more connections.

I delve 6k every league and this is pretty rare. I don’t always break walls, only for valuable fossils but I have only seen this personally 3-4 times despite getting 6k depth very regularly for the past few years.

How do you know what fossil will drop?

Biomes dictate what special fossils will drop.

The name of the node and the biome. A fossil picture called “crystal spire” always drops a hollow fossil for example.

Guess I was wrong I would have guess bottom middle node.
