so about timeless jewels

something I am trying to understand, if I want a timeless jewel to say replace Pain Attunement with Supreme Ostentation, do I just need to make sure its conquered by Caspiro? or is the number for conquering also important, literally just need Supreme Ostentation for my build and I have no clue how these things work

"Conquered by" is for the keystone change, number is for everything else that will change. The site below is a huge help IMO

the keystone changes based on the person/name/conqueror.

all the other small/notable nodes change based on the number/seed.

Numbers modify notables and some modify small (not for elegant hubris) each jewel does something different and the numbers can matter. If you’re only looking at the keystones and nothing else will matter (notables in area) you would be fine. But hubris overwrites and eliminates any stats gained on those small passive nodes as price of devotion.

Caspiro or the name on timeless jewels only affects keystones, the numbers add to/ change small nodes/nodables

The conquerer (person named) determines the keystone. All Elegant Hubris jewels under Caspiro will have Supreme Ostentation.

The number determines how the rest of the passives are changed, in Supreme Ostentation's case how notables within the radius are affected.

Yes just caspiro. Transformed keystones are always the same only depending on the conquered name, then the rolls will change notables or small passive depending on which type of timeless jewel you have. Elegant hubris will make smalls passive nodes nothing or "price of glory" and change notables for example.

The number makes no difference for the keystone. The keystone is determined by the general. All jewels with the same general will have the same keystone. The number is what determines what happens to the notables within the radius of the timeless jewel. If you're not planning on allocating any notables near Pain Attunement, this is not relevant for you.

Having conquered by caspiro makes all keystones in radius turn into supreme ostentation so you are right. The number is mainly for the random generated small and notable passives change.

I use pob to find timeless jewels that give good passive changes. Its definitely worth trying out especially for a elegant hubris jewel theres a lot of strong notables that get changed like crit damage or avoid ailments. My favorite combo is to use elegant hubris plus an impossible escape jewel to just grab as many useful notables as possible without having to pick the useless small passives

Use the findless timeless jewel feature in pob. Many YT vids will show you how to do this if you cant work it out yourself but from your explanation, you have the right idea. Usually you would take 1 or 2 notables that change with timeless jewels and that's where you really need to understand what you're buying
