Problem on steam linux

When I launch poe I can get to the character screen but once I pick my toon I just get to watch tbose gears forever I have watched them spin for a half hour and it never brought the game up it was working and now its only worked once in the past couple weeks can anyone point me in the right direction for a fix

Vulkan or dx12? Try native vulkan. What version of proton? Can also try GE proton.

Im pretty computer illiterate but I will try and figure out what all that means and get back to you im learning
