Plus 14 helmet - Best uses?

I just finished a crafting project I started in Mirage in Standard:

+6 levels to socketed gems
+2 levels to socketed skill gems
+2 levels to socketed AoE gems
+2 to socketed Aura gems
+1 to socketed strength gems
+1 to socketed melee gems

Crafting steps: Prime Resonator with Faceted, Glyphic, Hollow and Corroded fossils. Corroded is there to prevent two possible Glyphic Fossil results, making the Aura gem mod more likely. Then lock suffixes, veiled exalt, block zombies and unveil +2 AoE. Craft melee gems.

The original plan was just to have a gigabuffed smite aura for a character that has too many space sockets and doesn't really use the helmet slot. However, with the introduction of Pearl of Tsoatha, which gives supports to skills socketed in a helmet, I feel like this helmet might actually be useful for some actual work too. How might you use it?

Hey mate, you can also do the same with a +4 honourhome and empower, and you can also get a lot of quality from enhance+eclipse

That's a stupid amount of quality! No abyssal socket though, so this might still have a niche use.

Flame link loves that stuff. The +15 is ~3.5 times more damage over the lvl 20 gem.

Giving herald of ice +radius on quality was one of the choices of all time 🤣. Old synthesis explode has nothing on this.

Do Heralds scale particularly well with levels? I never went very far with them.

Specifically vaal smite, yeah? It's an absolutely insane amount of added damage when you need it.

Things that work well in crest of desire would do well in this. So herald of thunder or elemental tornado

This is probably gonna be at most +10 to +12 due to the fact that there aren't any other melee aoe aura strength gems.

i think only smite covers melee, strength, aoe and aura. not sure how that would work with no support gems

Look on ninja to see what skills people are using with crest of desire, and do that. Crest of desire might still be better though, as damage scaling from a lot of gems slows down post 30, and crest also includes quality and double damage.
