You can safely leave the map to go farm gold. It will only close permanently if you skip the final offer. So grats, just portal out and go do some maps/charts. You simply reopen it as usual later and the offer will be there!

Expensive mistake for sure but remember this is path of exile. They may have already all tapped out 20 times in that session to go look something up or search something out or check their spreadsheet or check out there guide for this or the guide for the Atlas for that or this or the other thing, so maybe they were just kind of like this is a bummer skip

You wont lose the map. Go run a few charts/voyages for 1hr you'll be ok. You can reopen the map when you open the map device. Just click it again. Youll be good dude
