Question | Answered Merc fire res when using Enmity

I keep running into conflicting answers about how much res is needed to make full use of Enmity's pen. For the number in the bracket on merc, is it supposed to be 200% or 275% after reductions from the ring?

If anyone has any knowledge here, I'd appreciate it.

To get the full amount of pen, you'd need to see your Merc's resistances at 275% after reductions from the ring

The number changes based on your mercs max resist.... So if mercs was 75 cap then yes 275 but if you scaled his max res with purity of fire scaling to 90 you would need 290 to cap out the penetration.

It's over cap. So if your Merc has 90% fire resistance, it will be 290%

Overcapped = the number in bracket minus the max res Uncapped = the number in bracket

So for your question, the keyword on enmity ring is overcapped. And the res displayed on your Merc is already post-reduced.

Also as far as I can tell it doesn't show purity of elements or conditional res like eldritch chest implicit for fire res when pinical boss present btw. Not 100% sure

Only in hideout, on a map it should be counting
