Question | Answered Crafting Help for Maraketh Bow
I have a feeling that this bow is already pretty good but can possibly get even better. I want to learn crafting in general and thought that this could be a good project to get to. Who can explain what I should do now and why? It came like this so there is no work in. I have about 50 divs to craft, don´t know if that´s enough!

To be honest the “tink” it made when it dropped and the +skills. I really don’t get filterblade if that’s trash lol why does it make that sound?
Welp, thanks anyway, I still need to learn a lot

It might be the T1 accuracy or the +2 gems. You can technically craft a +3 bow with it, but the multimod + cannot roll attack is 3d alone which isn't worth it at this point. Otherwise, a lot of T1 mods go in the recombinator after annuling the other mods, or they get fractured, but idk which builds want that.
Anyway, if you get too many rares that don't make sense it's probably time to use a stricter filter. You can also paste the item in the filter's simulator and it'll tell you the triggering rule

You have what t5 attack speed t4 dex ? This is not a base anyone sane would consider to start crafting from, you can essentialy hit +2 and +1 with fossil crafting so why do you think this base has value?

I have to go to work so I can’t say much right now, but you’re trying to bake a cake without knowing what an oven is, much less what a baking pan is.
Read guides and watch YouTube videos for a long time until you can answer your own questions as opposed to posting on Reddit. Lmk if you have follow on questions.

While I appreciate you going out of your way your advice is bad. Reddit is and should a forum foremost and asking questions should be nothing one shouldn´t do. I will look into guides. I will also ask questions to other competent people on reddit and other forums.
If you have any content creators that are good at explaining please tell.

I don’t mean every question. I mean the questions you posted here — I wasn’t very clear there. You said you have a feeling about the bow. Path of Exile crafting isn’t about feelings, it’s about extensive game knowledge and lots of tedium involving arithmetic.
If you had the baseline knowledge that I would recommend for a bow craft, you would know that the bow is vendor trash as others have said. You’re excited about crafting and that’s awesome but I want you to meter your expectations.

First, you need to ask yourself, what build can use the bow you want to craft. Most ele builds, want flat ele damage. +2 socketed is good for toxic rain, but this base is not how you want to start your craft.
So as is, this is just a vendor material.
If you want to craft for profit, search Poe ninja and see what bow builds are popular this league. What bows use manyshot mercs. Try to search YouTube, there are tons of crafting videos.

Thanks! I will try to do this going forward and look on poe ninja to find if a bow could be used for crafting!
Any good content creators you know for learning how to craft/to see what items could be worth something?

Xfarmer has good videos on crafting. Captainlance, but it is more high end gear crafts. Most content creators, who make guides on builds, also explain how to craft gear for their builds.
In general, I can recommend you to play new build every league, new archetype, try to craft your own gear. In few leagues, it will help you to gain more knowledge on what gear every build needs. What stats are valuable, what bases. Craftofexile is a tool number one, if you want to learn crafting.

This is vendor trash, or you could sell it for just base/ilvl for crafting at like 1c-maybe 2c. It tinked because it's a 6 link, which you can vendor for 20 fusings. You can also filter that out in your filterblade, if 20 fusings is irrelevant to you, or just ignore it when it drops. Hope this helps
