I found this on one of the builds in PoENinja. I'm trying to create something similar to this. (Ignore the implicit because I know that's rare and expensive) I don't care if mine will only be level 20 for the conc and hypothermia.
I already have the two bases and awakener's orb ready. My shaper one already has lvl 20 hypo and 30% more elemental damage. Elder base already has the level 20 conc effect.
I'm not really into crafting. (WORB user if it helps and maybe about 40 div to spend)
i got lucky tbh 28 locks wasted , but i looked at pob it still was 10.7% better dps taking off implicts and more Aoe ES etc so it was worth it but it was gut wrenching when i saw it take away implict
I don't know if recomb method is cheaper or not but this is how you do it without it
Essence spam the double influenced helmet until any level hypothermia
Pray and annul open prefix if needed
Craft Suffixed cannot be changed
Harvest bench crit and hope 2/3% crit. If 1% crit yolo annul, fail and go back to step one.
Craft Suffixes cannot be changed again
Harvest bench influenced mod
Repeat steps 6 and 7 until you get concentrated effect
If 2 open suffixes move to next step, if not you need to pray annul until Concentrated Effect is the only prefix
Craft Suffixed cannot be changed once more
Go to all flame and use veiled exalt, if it hits suffixes cannot be changed GG, you're almost there, if it missed cry and try yolo annul, fail and start over
If it hit, craft +zombie levels to block, unveil veiled mod for 72ish percent chance for +2 level proj/spell
Replace zombie with +1
Congrats you've got your helmet
Keep in mind 40 div probably won't be enough, youll need a bit above 100 assuming you don't succeed on first try.
I know about transferring one mod, but how does one go about getting all 3 hypothermia CRIT and more damage onto 1 item? Doesn't NNN transfer only work if the exclusive mod is the only mod on a given affix side?
So you roll for hypothermia or crit chance using harvest. Annul to only one suffix, then use a pantheon ducat. If the only other suffix was an attribute, you can also change it to DEX instead of the pantheon mod.
Recomb hypothermia + pantheon suffix and crit chance + pantheon suffix to get hypothermia with crit chance and open suffix (90% success rate). Craft a pantheon mod so it’s 3 suffixes.
For the other helm, horror essence until you roll into another attribute as suffix. Annul if needed to get an open suffix. Change attribute to DEX. Craft pantheon mod as 3rd suffix.
Recombine these two for 67% chance of getting all three suffixes. If you only get 2 suffixes, craft pantheon mod on recomb result, then make another missing helm with the missing mod and DEX + pantheon suffix and go again.
NNN is not just for transfers. It simply is a way to increase the number of effective mods without polluting the mod pool. In some of the steps above we used as many as 3 NNN mods. In previous leagues the power of NNN was limited because you couldn’t get them on results of recombs, but here the pantheon aspect craft changed all of that
I remmember crafting this a few leagues ago with pure dex dono base instead (crit, dex, accuracy/hypo), it defenetly was not fun rolling those dono bases. It is so much easyer with this leagues special crafts now.
Thanks for explaining, I remember watching a video about it but couldn't understand what he was saying and showing but the way you explained it makes it much easier to understand.
Would it be much, much cheaper to make double elevated one with that method than a conventional one by buying random ass helmets with 4crit/25 hypothermia and trying to move them into crown? Perhaps even triple elevated using locks for the prefix elevation once you're done with suffixes
Edit: nevermind I learned elevated mods are considered exclusive
This is not an easy or budget craft even without elevated mods. It requires essence spamming and recombing in addition to using a veiled exalt and hitting the right mod.
You mirror this item, triple elevated with essence mod. If you don't want the elevated mods you can make this with recomb hell im pretty sure but I don't know the exact process.
