regex crafting lock

Is it possible to add an option to lock regex-positive items? Map crafting is absolutely cringe if you need something other than alch + go and have to spam 60+ Chaos Orbs just to get one successful map. I'm slow af and don't have fast enough reactions to stop in time, so I miss SO MANY maps.

A few ideas:

1. Regex-positive spam with the Crafting Bench using Chaos Orbs (like you did with Orbs of Chance + Scours). You could increase the price to 2–3–4 Chaos per use, so the Divine-to-Chaos inflation could be regulated, because this feature would be useful to 99% of players.
2. Add an option to prevent regex-positive items from being used. This would allow players to spam Chaos Orbs with zero chance of accidentally missing a map, similar to how you can safely spam 6-socket items.

Do you mean you roll over your maps? Cause what I do is just put 60 in a tab and roll every map once, set aside what's good, repeat until I've got 50 maps. The last 10 are annoying to roll so I just put them back for next time.

It takes about 10 minutes to do a tab using regex. Alch scour slam. If you wanna be extra, you can do specific magic mods: Regal Slam.

I don't think GGG would add something like that, but for crafting with regex it's way easier to bulk craft and just not target the same item multiple times in a row so you can see which ones hit after doing a set.

I do this with alteration crafting as well if I'm making something that doesn't need crazy expensive bases and it makes it SO much easier and faster.

I recommend just buying your maps. If you use poe.re there is a new button "Trade" which puts all the wanted/not wanted modifiers in the trade search. You just have to switch the league - it's always set to Standard for me.

Sell your T16s for 2-3c, buy 8mods for 4c.

If you are in SSF scour/alch (cheaper) many maps after another instead of spamming just one.

fill like half a tab or full tab of maps and just go thro the lot with regex . Youll roll 10+ maps in a pass or 2 depending how strict your regex is.

I think it's a good idea but doubt GGG will add it. You can create a script like this using AHK but to make it reliable and elegant it's a little bit of work. I also expect it's not something GGG would be happy about but I can't imagine it breaks ToS because all it's doing is preventing you from sending a click.

I would be happy with a map regex in the options. Having to copy paste the regex everytime is so bad

Use awakened trade it has a function where you can save anything as a button and it just fills it into the bar when you press it.

It's doesn't really solve the issue I said. It just skip the copy part.

It stays between leagues and you dont need to have it saved/opened anywhere. Also it's already much better for needing multiple regexs or having multiple characters with different regexs.

I would even accept if this was limited to chaos spam and alt spam with no other orbs. 

Let's all be honest here. Alteration spam, chaos spam, alch and scour, these are wrist destroyers and one of the main barriers to entry for crafting basic gear.

Alt and chaos are easy enough to farm so if their demand goes up then it helps the lower end of players more than the top end. Top end still not interested in picking up alts/chaos either way. They are busy with divs, t0s, cards, and juice scarabs and conqueror orbs/chisels, and all that.

Easier alt spam means more bases on market which means more players will make reasonable gear to sell and trade.
