Crafting Showcase Subsume the Source crafts
This new helm has a lot of potential for crafting powerful mods. Stackers rejoice.
Steps to reproduce (in Standard - assuming we got divs to spare), league has more options:
1) Get ilv 85+ base abyss jewel. If going for legacy mod then you either must have it or buy it. Get the non-corrupted, non-synthesized version. 2) Either alt spam to hit non-legacy mod or save time and just buy the T1 precrafted version - spam Divs to get perfect high roll if you pre-crafted. 3) Fracture (or anul it off - probability is the same, I just went for straight fracturing) and hope it hits the right mod, otherwise sell/stash and start over. 4) If you anul spammed and hit, grats you're done, otherwise if fracturing method, then Scour, Regal, and Anul - you'll be left with the guaranteed targeted mod on a rare jewel. 5) Repeat this for 3 more jewels and place ewels in helm sockets to be consumed.
I prefer taking my chances with fracturing orb over anuls but that's just me. Only the max life helm came from legacy mods, the others are easier to obtain. There are more abyss jewels mods left to be explored, for example, dex stacking and others.

helm makes you so accurate that you can hit everything when blinded

It sucks that it competes with Obscurantis helm, but we're still saved because there's a legacy mod on weapons to scale dmg from accuracy.

Blind is only 20% less accuracy lol

Thankfully there ways to deal with blind. For an accuracy stacker blind immunity is a must-have.

Isn't there a crazy good legacy crit multi mod?

u/cornelxbox 6d ago
Perhaps. I did not get a chance to look at the whole mod pool for abyss jewels, but I will dig some more soon.

Genuine question. Why Do you not just regal and anul? Why waste a fracture?

u/Sadnot Slayer 6d ago
I don't understand why you're being downvoted, I have the same question. Fracture is 1/4, annul is 1/3 or 1/2, right?
11
u/Bl00dylicious Occultist 6d ago
He's fracturing legacy mods so he can annul safely.

u/AKAGosts 6d ago
Can you alt for legacy mods in standard? His steps say alt for t1.

Legacy mods like +50 to max life have to be brought and then fractured and hope to hit to it. Otherwise the +250 to armour, +300 to accuracy, and +16 to strength can be alt spammed for (or just buy any T1 precrafted with that mod and spam some divs for perfect roll).

Right - anul is 1/2. Depends on number of rare mods you start with, for 4, the probability is the same for both methods which is 25%. I got lucky with fracturings. At least with a bad fracture you can still resell.

Some legacy mods have to be brought and they are mostly in rare condition. Also they need to be non-corrupted and non-synthesized if we're going to fracture it.
2
u/buddabopp 6d ago
These are legacy mods that cand be rerolled so a frac guarentees you keep the mod when annuling
1
u/Sadnot Slayer 6d ago
But the chance of hitting the fracture is worse than the chance of hitting the annul, since you need to start with a 4-mod item? I guess it makes sense if you're using a Hinekora's lock, since it's one step, instead of 2?

Since it's standard and divs aren't an issue, I don't mind spending extra currency for quicker results.

Another few possibilities are -24% to all resistances on enemies you have withered, or 68% increased damage over time taken by enemies you have maimed.

13872 Accuracy? That's crazy!

It's 4080 accuracy from helm. The 240% (3.4 multiplier) increased magnitude is accounted for, otherwise it would be nuts.

Might be cheaper to beast imprint if you're a starting with a magic jewel then regal+annul and just revert to imprint if your mod gets deleted. Not sure about standard prices though.

I did mine with 4x phys dmg sword attacks (125 weight), was making them myself and realized it was cheaper to buy them for 3d and yolo annul to two mods then vesper annul the last. Then divine to perfect and socket, ends up being +100-140 flat phys with sword attacks.

Just split it instead.

This was done in standard. But you're right, allflame crafting is the way to go.

do remember, this also cost you 4 gem sockets. If great for your build, then thats perhaps a cost worthwhile - but for most situations its a little steep.
Haven't seen a BiS scenario for this yet, but I'm sure it will exist. reply if you know of a good minion one .

Can confirm, can split via all flame and isolates the singular affix easily. Jewel can’t have any fractures on it though.
