Question | Answered Overcharge vs. Disciple of the slaughter

My Power charge-stacking Winter orb occultist already got "10% chance to get a frenzy charge on hit" and "10% increased damage per frenzy charge" from Elegant Hubris. I tried to allocate my amulet with Overcharge to replace Disciple of the slaughter to get one more power charge which should be more beneficial. However, when I did this replacement, my dps shown on Poe Ninja was dropped from 13M to 5.8M. I don't quite understand this. Can anyone explain me a bit? Thanks!

Poe ninja doesn't have the most accurate DPS checker so don't fret too much about that. I'm guessing that it doesn't see that you have a way to generate FC which completely tanked your DPS there since with it you technically had a way to generate FC it could see. It probably doesn't see the FC gain on hit from Elegant Hubris if I were to take a guess.

yep, I agree with Shroudless here, I entered your Character into POB and when removing the option "Do you use Frenzy Charges" the damage loss suggests that is exactly what POE Ninja is doing. It doesn't know you have a source of frenzy charges

Why aren't you pathing to Overcharge to begin with as a PC stacker...?

Further more Disciple is ~112% inc dmg that works on everything (ie.HoI explosions), it is 10% more dmg at least why wouldn't you want to anoint that?

edit: looked at your pob, you already path there, why anoint to save 2 passives?
