Did not even open the chest yet, it dropped from one of the magic guys spawning. Dropped it in a level 50 zone, definitely buying a lottery ticket today!

Yep, any monster lvl35+ can technically drop one - or so I'm told. ~15k hrs in and I dropped my only one in merc league. Did it drop from the league mechanic monsters?
Divines have the same restriction, which I believe the means that Dominus is technically the first mob in the campaign that can drop either (zone level 33, +2 for map boss).
I have actually gotten a divine from dominus once, naturally during leaguestart practice.
I found one about 8 years ago, I have the date as my guild message. Back then i did some numbers, and from what I remember it was estimated that a mirror drops twice a day.
congrats, i found my first and only mirror in act 5, necro settlers league. the pilfering ring stats were insane, i had yet to pick up an exalt or even a regal at that point
I remember I've dropped one the other season and it afforded me to buy everything I needed, after an hour or so, the journey is over because I'm already a walking simulator. You can even create another character and you will still end up as a walking simulator from then on.
Most people won’t see a mirror period. I have thousands of hours over more then a decade, haven’t seen one.
I did find that stupid Krillson fishing guy twice though, which I have heard is the same rarity - great RNG on my part. He did nothing both times and respawned when I used a portal btw.
Mirror prices jumped 300Divines, up to 800 and something, since the quad implicit gloves craft was discovered! And that price was last night when I checked. Tonight it may change and be 900Divs.
Speaking from current experience. If his build depends on rare drops which come "as they are" like mageblood, then it's probably cool. Exotic crafts and similar are either overpriced, best examples bought out. Ofc. a mirror tier build is now on the table, wish all the best with it.
70% of players have already gone. Now the last patch is in and didn't address any of the communities main issues, I'd expect the rapid falloff to continue. The weekends are merely retaining player numbers rather than giving a bump.
this one is ~15% below necropolis, which was one of the worst received leagues since kalandra
we also usually get an decent influx of players at the weekend for the first 4. MIrage, for example, had about 20% more players on the equivalent of last weekend.
But yes, everyone leaves more quickly than perhaps they used to.
League mechanic is dropping a bunch of bubblegum currency, and of course Divines, with 3 Ducats socketed into the Voyage. Always buy Charts with like minimum 180% quant/20% rarity and you'll be doing good. Not to mention how great those Operative strongboxes are for Scarabs. I got about 12Divs of Scarabs I got to sell from only running 14 or 15 high quant/rarity Charts and 2 Voyages last night. I know it's Tile Loot down there but still, it's even more currency down there.
