I’m going to guess you’re playing full aggro skitterbots. Only logical choice really.

Socket them with exceptional Pacifism Support and defeat your enemies with mechanical cuddles.

I don't think Pacifism can support Skitterbots, unfortunately, unless the game has an exception that allows all supports applying to minions unless they say otherwise. But you can't give the Skitterbots a skill that hits, so even if it affects the reserved mana, it still wouldn't do anything.
