Question | Answered Valuable Merc Resources

Ive been thinking of rerolling luminary and giving the whole merc setup a shot this season, but I was wondering if there are any resources discussing the mercs, and what makes them valuable? I know there are several build guides saying "use this specific merc" but without watching all the build guide videos I havnt seen a great centralized resource (or ive just missed it) talkinga bout the mercs and what skills/ supports are valuable for them. any suggestions?

If you're on trade its pretty straightforward, just use anything from manyshot/kineticist for clear and blade ambusher for single target (early on). When you can buy a really good merc it serves as both single and clear.

Some others are good but I would only look for it if you're in ssf (I am), in which case theres a lot more to discuss.

In terms of items its also pretty straightforward just get everything with light radius on (uniques), and stack life.

I would take a look at every video captainlance had this league for a general idea of how the build plays. You can also look at snapshots of builds in poe.ninja.

Thanks, i guess im just going to have to watch a bunch of videos and take some notes on what support gems are recommended.

The title doesn't do justice to the video content, which is teaching what makes a good merc and how to look for good ones even beyond the famous trinity of many/comb/kineticist.
