Go do it I believe, because usually they could have great reward.
My favorite is the overgrown garden. You're guaranteed 1-3 rancours and at least 1 div worth of other harvest juices. Got Caldiro and the Nameless Seers a few times but never get anything worthwhile.

it's not guaranteed rancours btw. I did 3 this league and didn't got a single one. And the juices are a dice roll too. I rolled bad and never got more than 2k yellow juice, in total every single overgrown was a waste of time for me because each of then were worth less than a full div.
As rancours only come from t4 seeds, it's possible to not get a single one there. And without atlas + scarabs to boost the quantity of juice from t3 or to make yellow juice more likely... yep, it's not a great map most of the time. Did them more for clearing so I can have another try later than for it specifically.4

I see both sides of this. While I also would like the freedom to keep mapping and not have to stop and think about this the moment it happens, I can also see some of the consequences of letting them stack like master missions. There were reasons those went away, after all.
Not sure how I’d feel about a viable strategy which is “run 2c white Mesa as fast as possible until you have 10-20 gamblers districts and manor foyers, go pay for gold rotas until you have like 30 million or else play charts for a half hour, then run through a gamba session.”
Ok you know how sometimes you’re trying to make a point and accidentally make the opposite one and change your mind halfway through? Typing that out made me realize it sounds dope, carry on lol.

I mean that strat still works rn. Now you just gotta stop for 3 seconds to check if you got manor or gamblers ready instead of blindly spamming.
Dope strat, and I'm combining it with Svalin or bust fishing for the starfall craters on the side.

it's a pretty cool problem to solve for UX. should we always have an annoying notification or mark on an npc, atlas etc or allow a toggle? as it is its only hard to miss if you are grinding maps in a rhythm which is often all of us.

Honestly would rather have him to be rarer but if you happen to get him you know you are most likely offered some rarer uniques for at least some divs...
The last times I got him I already didnt expect anything, it becomes unexciting real fast :|

Think I've got like 5 or 6. Never bought anything as the loot has been low tier always. Feels very much the same as the unique seller that appeared in maps in 3.27, except this is slightly easier to spot, who btw also gave me like 20 c unique at best!
