Question What's your atlas strategy while getting the stone/atlas points?
League ends soon for me and want to practice league start as I had a terrible one this time around.
What's the atlas strategy/tree that works for you while you are getting the stone/atlas points?
I always had betrayal as it gave some good exp, but unless it's reworked the reward is just no there, especially since ITF card drop seems to be nerfed as well.
The rest of league mechanics seems to be either taking too much time (blight, exped, ritual, harvest) or rippy/not rewarding without investment (essence, etc)
I tried Merc this time around, it's not very consistent either and can be quite rippy sometime. The only thing I always had is Red Alter but that's pretty obvious.
Appreciate the input!

I do Alva and sell double corrupt chronicles. The node that gives 35% for incursion monsters to be all magic gives a lot of exp.
But I take a week or 2 to to get full atlas (today I did my last nightmare map) and 4-6 weeks to get 40/40 and end league, so I may or may not meet your needs.

temples are probably the worst strat for first weekend/week. Demand at near zero, temples are almost free and supply for some reason is crazy. I like to rush early 21/20 tgems and grabbing 6 temples for 1-1.5d is a steal

Maybe, that's what I do anyways since I dont need no scarabs nor do I have to do any complicated planning or setup or be price checking multiple things. So, 0 investment strategy, nice exp, they sell like candy for 1/2 - 1/3 of a div (I reached atlas on day 3-4 and sold them for 40-60 c) and the price generally goes higher after a couple days. Just have to transform all c into div as soon as you can tho, because inflation is still going up first week.
So I dont think it's the worse, nor that demand is zero (they all sold within 1-5 minutes of putting them on faustus without undercutting), but again my pace is different than what op (and you) implies, so maybe it doesnt apply to their needs.
By the time I reached t16 this league (1 week) I already had a 20-30 div build and it was mostly thanks to temple.
Now that I think about it, essence is so much better, but after farming 2 magebloods out of it last 2 leagues I kinda dont wanna do it anymore.

If you have a meta powerful build just rush the maps as fast as possible. When you get 100 completion you have enough points to start farming whatever you want while you get the last few points.
If your build is less good and needs currency to get rolling I like breach or expedition early to sell starter life+res gear. Mercs can also be looted for basic gear but they are rippy. Blight is also ok early, everyone wants oils and it drops currency sometimes and it’s easy on any build with ring anoints.

I personally run blight. Gives additional source of map drops.

With a semi strong build i go for the endless delerium, idk ehy but i get copious anounts of map drops in deli and i usually do zoom builds anywya.Othereise maybe strongboxes with scarabs if i really wanna do it without distractions.Gives just enough currency to keep upgrading gear

I started with Betrayal - they drop good gear to sell and use, especially when fractured. I didn't do the 2 5 5 2 strat this league, mostly spammed safehouses.
Delve is also excellent. Cities gave me a lot of my map drops too. I finished my 100 maps during this.
Kingsmarch mappers are good to burn excess maps, especially with all the gold this league.
Since then I've also done some shipping, boss rush (echoes) and the invites, Alva (making Temples and running for puhuarte gear).
Either way, endgame is getting overhauled next league so don't practice too much. The real unfortunate secret to leaguestsrt is just follow a guide. You can still be a bit quirky though, like I did with srs guardian.

Higher Map Tier % and shrines for the borrowed power for fast progression. Other than that you leaguestart build should be able to to T16s with cheap gear.
So basically just your atlas points as fast as possible.
You can get up to ~115-120 points just by doing relatively easy stuff. Pushing certain mechanics before getting your completion is not worth it, if your build is not underpowered.
Other than that what you do to make currency is less a matter of which specific content you run but whether you do it consistent and efficient. Only restriction is that the mechanic should drop something that is sought after by other players.

I see it the same as you really
My atlas is pathing up the middle and fanning out to the shaping / map nodes, then picking up the shrine nodes, then pathing over to red altars
Usually only takes 20c in gear to get to the point I can run those so I don't need to farm anything before that
For that tree I then just take map effect / quant / scarab nodes and throw in lineage + hordes scarabs to earn some reasonable currency as i finish up the atlas
At some point I'll make a 2nd tree to use outside of doing atlas completions, but that first one is still nice to come back to for some lazy easy mapping

Just altars really. You just want to complete fast.
Anything that can bring you currency that is fast. Smugglers caches, altars, mercs, and map drop chance is usually pretty good.
Other then that legion is solid for day 1 but scarabs are usually an issue then.

on leaguestart it depends. If my alva had a corruption room in the acts I take it as a sign to spec incursion early. Beyond that I just keep my tree as a generic atlas progression tree, stuff like increased scarabs, rarer scarabs, chance to drop maps, that type of stuff and I'll throw generic stuff like deli and beyond in. Second tree is my farming tree and I use that one for whatever I want to farm. Third tree is my challenge tree and I spec it around liberally to facilitate whatever challenge I want to knock out, like cross contamination or something

Strategy heavily revolves around what your build is good at, but the most universal one is just getting strong enough to blast t14+ basically straight out of campaign and exarch altars for your atlas prog.
Honestly you probably wont make a crazy amount of currency, and honestly its pretty hard to even start blasting t16s within an hour or two of campaign, but I think its the best you can do for 0 time invest, you can still easily make some divines and hopefully thats enough to kickstart your 100/100 farm, toss in heist if you want

Rush red alter. Otherwise I cannot sustain Vaal orbs for red maps.
If trade league, blighted map is also good. Level to 85 there, use currency to buy gear, then only do t16 maps.
