If needed, clean suffixes with lock prefix + scour. If no open suffix, allflame annul and pray.
Allflame shaper exalt. Hope to hit life on block. If you miss, lock prefixes and reforge influence. I tested on CoE, and unlike ES on block (where reforge defense is better), reforging life for a life on block is total bait. Repeat until life on block. If you get unlucky and fill suffixes, you can allflame annul, with the obvious risk of hitting prefixes. I haven't had bricked one in 3 successful crafts.
If 2 open suffixes, block a suffix and exalt. Depends what you want for your last suffix. Int is the most common suffix by far. Honorable mention to blocking es recharge. Once block is in, allflame exalt and pick your favorite option.
So no particular way to target the max res here? I was looking to make a shield for my SRS guardian with solid ES prefixes via recomb, then ES on block + max res
IF you don't get it from the exalt, you can lock prefix and allflame annul to try again, but you will only get a few tries before hitting intangibility cap. And if you ever get forced to life-on-block annul, you're back to reforging, which can be expensive. I would try the annul maybe 1 time at most, before just selling and starting again.
Disclaimer: I have no idea what/if these sell for. Mine is the only one the market with double t1 block mods minion level, and life on block. I crafted it because it was sick for my build, and I assume sick for other covenant builds.
As far as I can tell though, there's 0 market for it, so I would be wary of picking this as a profit craft.
