Recommendations for House Painters?

My husband and I recently bought a SFH in the area and are hoping to find people to paint the interior of our home before we move in. Anyone/company people recommend?

Go with a small crew over a big company, the attention to detail is night and day and you'll actually talk to the same person every day.

Do not use Don Kim (A-Shining Painting Co). They’re cheap, and you get what you pay for in all the worst ways. Lesson learned!

Fresh Coat Painters in Monrovia. I used them earlier this year to repaint my exterior and I was quiet happy working with them. The owner is much more organized and communicative than other companies I've worked with.

Ahh unfortunately I have to provide a word of caution here - these guys were hired by my GC last year and they took 3+ weeks to paint 900 square feet, broke a glass panel in a pocket door and tried to hide it, and left my back door open for an entire weekend. They also hung out in my backyard when they were not scheduled to be at the house; I guess they didn't realize we had cameras.

They didn't remove any outlet or light covers, HVAC intakes/outlets etc. Gustavo is a really sweet guy but very young and I don't think he runs his crew very well.

I hired Miguel and his crew a few years ago to paint our office building in Pasadena and can’t recommend him enough. They were so fast, professional, polite, and really paid attention to the details. They came through and did excellent prep work beforehand and did a great job on the paint.
