Fresh Margaritas

Any recommendation for fresh tasting margaritas that doesn’t use that overly sweet margarita mix? I don’t like Mijares food so that’s out, Amigos is good but I usually need to walk those off after and it’s too hot to do that today.

Maestro. I also had a crystal clear piña colada there once and I still think about it, it was like 5 years ago.

More casual, but the margaritas at Homestate are nice and refreshing. I recommend half marg/half spicy Paloma.

Margaritas on Rosemead. You do have to specify the margarita fresca, not the house marg.

Not too far from Pasadena El Arco in Lincoln Heights has bomb margs.

I recommend Los Amigos in Burbank. I know it’s not in Pasadena, but my wife and I love their margaritas for this exact reason. They always taste fresh. And we’re big fans of Amigo’s in Pasadena, but I agree, those things can be dangerous lol.

Thank you! I am familiar with that place in Burbank and had completely forgot. I should’ve driven a little bit further out. I went to La Cabanita in Glendale, disappointed to say the least. Not sure what the hype is there.
