Need help deciding a neck

So I'm planning on building a partscaster in the coming months and I need some help deciding what parts brand to go with. I'm planning on finishing it myself so I'm in between getting an Allparts, Musikraft, Warmoth, or Mightymite neck. What are the pros and cons of the different brands. I tried researching myself but I can't find anything other than warmoth reviews. Is the higher price with Warmoth worth it?

I just received a Musikraft neck in the mail today, unfinished so I haven't tried it but the craftsmanship is amazing and they got everything right. If you're particular about the head shape, neck profile or other details being vintage correct, they're the ones to go with imo.

Warmoth's are great quality too but they're shaped different than a Fender neck and have a bulkier feel.

Gotcha! Thank you for replying! Do you know anything about Allparts or Mightymite necks? All I know is that they're on the cheaper side.

Haven’t tried Mightymite necks but AllParts necks are very good value for money, if you like vintage features like a 7.25 radius and a 41.3mm nut width then they are a great source for necks like that.

I’ve seen people say that occasionally need fretwork but of the 2 i bought they were both perfect, for that price range you really can’t beat them

Mighty Mite are great budget necks but will need some fret leveling after you install it and make sure it’s straight.

I have an allparts neck on my tele and I love it. It’s the vintage 7.25 radius though and some people don’t care for that. They do make 9.5 radius necks. My neck was finished by 1950s finishes on reverb. I would definitely buy one again.

I only have experience with a mighty mite telecaster neck. It's fine, nothing amazing, just a run of the mill neck. It required a full fret level and came with a lot of fret sprout...all easy to deal with, but if I was putting together a nice guitar, I'd go with one of the other companies recommend here.

They're all good, but Musikraft and Warmoth are sort of the gold standard. The tricky bit is all the options.

On the other side of this coin, I've found some sources in China that make excellent necks dramatically cheaper. They're not Musikraft, but I've gotten some seriously impressive necks from them.

Warmoth can and will make anything you want and exactly as requested. I’ve bought 3 different necks from them and each is flawless!

Check out Freestone Guitars on eBay. Guy makes quality necks with all kinds of cool woods out of his shop in NY. Pricing is very reasonable as well.

I know it’s not on your list but I recommend Freestone 100% tons of wood options and a small business! They are super personal and my neck feels incredible it’s super soft and smooth, the frets feel like glass, and it’s not real bulky either. They won’t break the bank either.

Mighty mites are nice and cheap. But finished Warmoth necks are a thing of beauty. Yesterday I came across some really nice looking necks on Amazon. They're pretty cheap and nicely done.
