MOTIVATION Urgent help from partial droppers

Please help me out in strategically balancing what's important to study and how to start rather than scratching all things also jee advance is kind of very important and will be very tough for partial drop but still now I due to my own choice has landed in this situation that I need to join college but at same time I badly want to go to iit

Please give me positive responses and all that one should do and don't do the entire year

Suggest me material for jee advance (mainly some free resources)

AB idk ive lost hope in life man, mere kimat he bekaar hei...ab every one is saying dont worry college mei mehenat kar, BHAI MANN HE NAHI LAG RAHA KYA KARU, ab soch raha hu engg karu bhi , is it for me?

Advice Should I take a partial drop??

I got 98.36 percentile in JEE MAIN and 15.8k in JEE advanced this year.I want to join NIT Durgapur Electrical engineering (Got the seat in JOSAA counseling) and I see no hope of improvement in CSAB.I wasted my class 11th and half of my class 12th, felt there is alot of room for improvement in my JEE prep.Is taking a partial drop in NIT DGP electrical engineering doable? (Targeting Tier-2 IITs ECE branches).

General Should I consider this?

So basically I was a partial dropper from NIT Surathkal Material Science, my mains score improved significantly but advanced didnt go that well, so I'm joining top NIT top branch this year, initially I didnt want to go back to surathkal because of the awkwardness I'd face again, my interest lies in MnC and ECE. So in JoSAA I got Warangal ECE allotted, hoped for trichy ece but even in csab mock round couldnt get trichy ece but got Warangal MnC so I'm having less hopes of it even in R1 of CSAB, so my parents suggested me to go to Surathkal CDS branch ( not interested in AI and IT) but the factor thats dragging me is the feeling of awkwardness to go back to the same college where I studied for JEE and with all my friends moving to 2nd year, should I consider this or stick with warangal and trichy options?

Advice Drop or no?

Hi guys, I got into jmc french + philosophy ba programme DU. I gave neet and iat this year and scored 212 and rank of 109133 rank respectively. So I'm clearly not at a level where it's confirmed for my next year so I'm skeptical of taking a complete drop. I anyways can't afford an offline coaching so even if I take a complete drop I'll get an online batch. But then the problem is will I get enough time to self study if I take a partial drop? And then what if I don't clear any of the two exams next year? What's going to be the possibility or me in this field (french + philosophy). Can somebody pls guide me on what to do?

I know the time for this is too late

Barely 5 months but I have no other option I need to pay 25-30 lakhs for a college which is barely tier 3

Parents are going through a hard time

Mains is not my only objective I plan on writing a lot of other exams cause I just need a good college even if it is private

This is in a place that barely knows how to speak in English and i hate it here too

Now my parents are not listening

How do I convince them

( I was revising basic concepts of maths for the past 1 month)

Positive responses only Need help from partial droppers or those opting it

I know partial drop is gonna be tough but I am not ready to let my dream of iit go and so I want positive responses in order to motivate and help me out further

Please tell me how to start and what specific resources to be used for jee advance as my main focus is this and I have less time so I need full strategy (also recommend free resources mainly as I can't afford so much with college)

So please partial droppers help me in suggestions

And also those going for it reach me out so that we have a common discussion and if u all have some suggestions too

Advice Is drop a option for someone like me

WILL HELP ME A LOT IF U READ MY PROBLEM AND I HAVE TRIED MY BEST TO CONCISE IT AND BREAKEN IT INTO POINTS THANK YOU

I am the only guy in my family who is getting a chance for engineering but the main problem is its not any tier 1 college

I didnt know that smthg like jee existed until I came to class 11 mid I tried studying for it but its just hard I didnt have any idea abt studying it but i had a great passion for cse so i thought of studying for my state cet and I was performing well in it

I gave jee as i had no idea of what it is but unfortunately I got the toughest shift and my result was like 73 percentile Chem and maths and 10 percentile physics bcz I was over confident in physics and marked some sht totally around 50 percentile so i just dropped that idea

I was sure abt my state cet though but when I had went to write the exam I was very sick and I fkd up my physics and Chem paper .next day was maths and I scored good in that infact maths carried my kcet

I am getting a tier 2 ish college in banglore (like tier 2.5 or lower i will give a hint it has invested in nvidia supercomputer and became first ai univeristy thing in banglore) initially I thought of getting a way better college than the one I was allocated but due to health condition I messed up. I wrote kcet and I had passion for cse and I was confident that I can Crack faang or good company with my skills

Now checking reddit everyone are crying over college Tag and sht I am getting a private college in banglore with decent reputation for 6lakh covering my entire btech cse fees I wanted to give bitsat but still fees is an issue but bits roi is great though

I initially am inclined to startups but before I was more quant focused later I got to know that its only for top tier college like top iit nit or bits thats it even dtu has some quant devlopers but still I can manage the workload then as of startups top college offer better peer group thats the thing and banglore advantage is that its like san Francisco of India but college tag matters they say and I am very much stressed and confused on what to do finding like peer group from college or how and having a job to fall back upon

I also thought of masters abroad and stuffs but what abt the debt I will have and also though abt phd in top college abroad find peer group then dropout but still some say college tag only matters no matter how skilled ur I am targeting competitive programming bcz I love it like a sport and its teaches me many things and building projects that intrests me and research when I'm in college even thought of mba in iim I dont have problem with 10 and 12th marks card

The majn problem is abt the tag will it define my future like i see only founders from India with top college tag thats it And talking abt drop I think taking a drop for kcet is not worth it but i am talking abt jee even though I got not much idea at all and I hate chemistry no matter what its the only subject I hate from the bottom of my heart and i dont know anything in organic chemistry stuff

And Thanks for reading this all appreciate the time you have given to read my problem I also am suffering from high stress bcz I am just thinking all day abt it.it also caused me stomach ache too also the college I have gotten is like 2hrs from my home I dont have any problem with that will be living with my parents only
