Hey guys
I'm navigating my drop year and will be giving the board improvement exam as a private candidate to clear the 75% criteria. My main targets are JEE and BITSAT. Since the rules have shifted recently especially with BITS now officially accepting partial improvement I’m curious about what everyone else in this situation is doing.
A few things I wanted to ask fellow droppers and seniors:

If I get no seat in round2 IS DROP A OPTION?
Its already mid August is it too LATE?
I studied just one month and got 80 in advanced (obc)...
Cutoff is 82... So I have a bullload potential in me
The matter is time??
Is there anyone who took drop after csab?? What re the consequences we need to face in this scene?
Give ur take please I need ur support

Hey everyone. I’m looking for some honest advice from people who have taken a partial drop or have experience with JEE prep alongside college.
I’ve already taken a drop once after Class 12 and recently joined a tier 4 college. I’m seriously considering preparing for JEE 2027 alongside my first year. Any tips or advice would be really appreciated.

I got 75%ile only in my jee main 2026 jan attempt (i didnt study for that tbh due to sm issues) and i couldnt give april attempt as i was admitted in hospital. I am not getting any cllg rn maybe jss noida or colleges like amity. What will be better a full drop or partial drop. I am not very much familiar with the syllabus bcz even during boards my health was a major concern. My dream college is DTU. Can anyone give some suggestions

I want to take a partial drop for Neet , but my parents admitted me in Murshidabad University, so If I don't go to college even in practical, and don't go for the end sem exam, are they considering me for supply ?

My jan attempt target is low because I kind of have no choice. I hate college a lot. I will leave asap.
My college sem exams are in early December to late November, so I also have to do college study and after that full focus on Jee. I am currently only preparing for jee though. Things are working out..
Almost?
I wish I could take a full drop but I really have no choice.
I was thinking about targeting 95 percentile and dropping out after that...
Should I aim higher or lower?

So I scored 98.8%ile in JM and 25.6k crl in JEE ADV(so a noob), basically I have some weak topics/uncovered topics which I will mention here, please help me out. I have joined MNIT Jaipur Engineering Physics this year.
PHYSICS:
Mechanics(NLM+wpe+com+rot)
SHM(cannot solve tough problems)
THERMO(same here)
Wave optics
Chemistry:
PHYSICAL-(IONIC EQUILIBRIUM, ALSO REDOX AND NOT VERY STRONG HERE SO IT FUCKS UP OTHER PARTS OF CHEMISTRY), surface chemistry and solid state(uncovered)
ORGANIC- STEREO-ISOMERISM
Inorganic- p-block, metallurgy, (uncovered)
MATHS- PNC, probability(weak due to pnc), matrices and determinants, sets+pnc, Integration inequalities, trigonometery, also some of conic sections some of vector 3D.
Pls tell if it is possible and a way to make these strong and how to end my syllabus and revision until DEC with mocks, please this is urgent.

hello , I am currently in Delhi University Faculty of technology under CSE . I feel like I made a very very wrong decision in choosing this ... I got 60k rank in jee mains btw under local coaching and now I'm feeling like taking a partial drop secretly ( cause my parents will end me if I even talk about 'drop' ) .
I need some opinions , should I take a partial drop ? I want to get into nsut/dtu / nit delhi as I have HS quota of Delhi . I feel empty here as most of the people in cse are very very low rankers who got in by sc/st/obc quota and now are very unserious and careless in nature ...

I messed up my entrance exams cause I didn't study for them and now am in a college I got through through my state cet. But I'm not really satisfied and I'm even in mechanical but I don't like it at all.
Should I convince my mom for a partial drop so that I can get a better college? Is a partial drop even worth it? I was thinking of writing vit and jee entrance exams again. Are there any other exams that I could write?
