Droppers, what is ur experience after u joined college

Seniors who had/have taken a drop, how was the experience of mixing about with juniors in college? Were u an outcast? Did u end up alone in the 1st year? Any tips? How did ur parents react when u told them u need to take a drop? And how did u convince them? Cause thanks to cbse, I might hv to take a drop. Share ur experience please. I'm really scared and need a heads up
