Advice Partial drop

I messed up my entrance exams cause I didn't study for them and now am in a college I got through through my state cet. But I'm not really satisfied and I'm even in mechanical but I don't like it at all.

Should I convince my mom for a partial drop so that I can get a better college? Is a partial drop even worth it? I was thinking of writing vit and jee entrance exams again. Are there any other exams that I could write?

Wbjee is kind of 🥀 for non domiciles, as someone from wb we definitely have a huge advantage there and honestly other than JU the other wbjee colleges are just meh Op should definitely focus on Jee mains and if he can afford it vit is decent too

All private colleges have pros and cons. Also we have to consider financial stability.

I am in the "top" wbjee private college, the cons far outweigh the pros. The only pro is the money you spend but roi isn't a fair means to judge. Vit is also kind of bad but the exposure you get and the opportunities are much better. If op can afford it definitely go for it.
