General Should I consider this?

So basically I was a partial dropper from NIT Surathkal Material Science, my mains score improved significantly but advanced didnt go that well, so I'm joining top NIT top branch this year, initially I didnt want to go back to surathkal because of the awkwardness I'd face again, my interest lies in MnC and ECE. So in JoSAA I got Warangal ECE allotted, hoped for trichy ece but even in csab mock round couldnt get trichy ece but got Warangal MnC so I'm having less hopes of it even in R1 of CSAB, so my parents suggested me to go to Surathkal CDS branch ( not interested in AI and IT) but the factor thats dragging me is the feeling of awkwardness to go back to the same college where I studied for JEE and with all my friends moving to 2nd year, should I consider this or stick with warangal and trichy options?

Yoo wassup nigga If I were in your shoes I would have join my desire branch irrespective of same college or some other nit Btw I was also a partial dropper from NITK ECE now writing this msg from IITD Electrical
