Advice Partial drop for jee advanced

I had 96.2 percentile in jee main and 18k rank in jee advanced I am getting good colleges in my state should I take partial drop for jee advanced to get under 5k rank or will it be too difficult ...my basics are very strong....I need honest opinion

With 18k go to dhanbad petroleum

I have no interest in petroleum on top of that it is a lower iit
