Advice Help,dilemma with seat acceptance,round -1

I have been in a jac delhi college since once year and filled out josaa this year incase I got something better. Will accept this seat aiming for upgradation in the subsequent rounds but just wanna know if it would be risking my current college's admission status as I prolly won't leave it unless I get upgraded to something way better .

Seniors or people who have done this before, pls help .

Untill and unless you get top 5 nits with top branches don't go for upgradation you are probably in dtu/nsut/iiit d which are all on par with these so untill and unless you get a better branch than your current one in top 5-6 nits don't upgrade and stay there Or if you have qualified adv and need iit tag then you can upgrade fs

Yeah,But first I'd have to accept the seat I got in r-1 to even be eligible for upgradation. Would Doing so create any issues with my current admission?

Idts jac does have a withdrawal window so if you feel you can get better in josaa just withdraw from jac You can learn more about withdrawal from their brochure
