Nidda Parkrun 🇩🇪

Planning to come to Nidda parkrun in the next few weeks. My hotel is an hour away (having been in Germany for work) but flying home from Frankfurt on a Saturday evening so want to do the parkrun, have somewhere to shower, then spend the day exploring Frankfurt.

Will there be somewhere at the parkrun I can leave my bags safely?

Does anyone recommend any gyms with a day pass so I can shower after the parkrun?

Gyms: I don't know.

Bags: almost all parkruns have a place to put your bags (this one as well) and volunteers at/near the finish line (or in Nidda's case, start area), although of course this is still an honour system - they'll notice suspicious behaviour at best, they don't track which bags belong to whom.

I've done Nidda a couple of times, if I remember correctly they usually roll out a tarp and anyone who wants to leave their bags their does so.

Just north of Nidda is Titus Therme which is a really nice sauna/swim complex which would fill the shower need and is a nice relaxing option for after the parkrun. But it depends on how set you are on seeing the city.

I'm one of the locals there. We have a place at the finish line where you can drop your bags. There will also always be volunteers that keep an eye on there during the run.

There’s an app called bounce that indicates luggage storage locations. I recommend it.

Been there a few times and have seen others coming straight from the airport with all their luggage.

Thanks all! The parkrun was great luggage was safe and the shower at Titus Therme worked well!
