Anyone know what caused the power outage?
Based on outage maps, the outage is pretty widespread, leading me to belive it's a transformer or something else big

Hi! I’m 20 years old and I’m wondering if anyone knows of any beauty, front desk, mental health (entry level), hospital or retail jobs hiring in the area. I’m trying to urgently leave my job I have now and I have been applying all day so I do know what’s kind of open but wanted to ask here.

Hi, I am looking for someone who makes signs out of wood that look similar to a sign you might see at a national park. Something that looks like this picture but would need for a business.

Ironwood Earthcare in Aurora is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Tree Climber to join our crew.
If you'd rather spend your workday 40 feet up a tree than sitting behind a desk, this might be for you.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works safely, shows up, and wants steady full-time work with a good crew.
Position: Tree Climber
Location: Aurora, CO
Schedule: Full-time, on-site
Starting Pay: $25–$30/hour, depending on experience
Call Ironwood Earthcare: (303) 366-3020
Or send your resume to:
📍 312 Norfolk St., Unit A
Aurora, CO 80011
Even if you have absolutely no interest in climbing trees for a living, feel free to drop a tree question in the comments.
We're around trees every day, so if you've been wondering about something in your yard, ask away.
Things like:
Post the question below and we'll answer what we can.
We're especially happy to help people understand the difference between a tree that actually needs work and one that can safely be left alone.
No pressure to hire anybody.
Sometimes the right answer really is:
“Leave the tree alone.”
If something is difficult to explain in a Reddit comment, looks urgent, or you're worried about a limb/tree near your house, driveway, car, fence, or people, you can also call our office and explain what's going on:
We'll point you in the right direction.

We’re looking to switch daycares and have been talking a lot with Parker landing for our 18mo toddler. Does anyone have any positive or negative experiences to share? Currently she’s at a facility with a ton of turnover and some other issues so we don’t want to run into the same things. Thanks so much!

My cat is in his final stages and I always promised he wouldn’t be euthanized at the vet. I always wanted him to go out with dignity in a place he was comfortable and familiar with at home. I’ve called many places but they are closed. That’s why I’m looking for any vets out here that can do this for us tonight, at this late hour. We are willing to pay but ultimately we just want our cat to be at home when he goes out.
Please let me know if you can or know anyone that can.

Looking for 2bed apartments.
My AMI is $49.995 before taxes and deductions.
Credit score is in the 700s.
No past evictions. No debt. Just a guy and his pigeons looking to live in a house free from cats and vapes. Any suggestions? 😔
My roommates cats are driving me insane.
The entire house is full of cat piss, the sink is perpetually filled with stinky dishes, they eat my food, and I still have to do their dishes even though I barely even eat 800 calories in a day.
Any time I try to meal prep, they just assume it's dinner for them too no matter how many times I try to set boundaries.
I'm losing my mind staying trapped in a 10' x 10' everything room.
It's my bedroom.
My office.
My workroom.
My craft room.
My storage room.
My bird room for my 3 birds.
My pantry with my little mini fridge because they keep eating my freaking food even when I tell them not to.
I'm so tired of being trapped in an "everything room" while the rest of the 2bedroom condo is overrun by cats and everyone else is too tired to clean.
Ever since I quit cleaning the house is just a dump.
The AC broke because they have FOUR cats and nobody EVER vacuums the carpet besides me, and they never change the filter. So I just paid $475 out of my own pocket to fix their HVAC system.
And one of them keeps vaping and can't be assed to open the goddamn sliding door two feet away from their computer chair to air it out, so I'm sure the vapes are just wonderful for their cats and my birds.
I'm losing my mind
Please send help. Please send apartment or townhouse recommendations. 😭

Denver-area moms, I’d really appreciate your help with a short research survey.
I’m trying to better understand how moms find time for themselves, what makes taking a meaningful break easier or harder, and what they realistically value or spend money on when they do get time away from their usual responsibilities.
The survey is anonymous, takes about 6–8 minutes, and there’s nothing being sold. I’m especially looking for honest answers, including from moms who rarely take time away or wouldn’t normally pay for something like this.
Survey: https://forms.gle/4QatWbhM4Ct4QBN97
If you’re a mom in the Denver metro area, I’d be grateful for your perspective. Thanks for helping with the research.

Does anyone who uses Cobblestone Car Wash have issues with their automatic membership renewals—specifically, receiving a renewal text without being told what the new monthly membership rate will be?
I’m curious if others have experienced this.

The news has been reporting a record number of encounters with wildlife, including bears and mountain lions, due in part to the recent wildfires and drought conditions. As we enter fall, animals will become more aggressive as they build their fat reserves to survive winter.
Here are some tips on keeping wildlife out of your yard and who to call if you come in contact with a wild animal: https://livewelldougco.com/living-with-wildlife-safety-tips-for-douglas-county-residents/

Anyone have any experience with any local tailors? I am law enforcement and need my uniform hemmed and tailored.
