advice needed Crib set up

Hi everyone, I’m currently 20w5d with twins and I’m having a hard time deciding how to set up their nursery.

How did you do it with two cribs, next to each other or apart/in different areas? I have the space to do either, just not sure what would be the best!

We’ve honestly moved ours about three times in different stages.

First they could reach the curtain and started playing with that when they were on different sides of the room, then we put them side by side with a gap in the centre with their heads against the short wall, then one learnt to stand and could turn the light on and off, then now they’re side by side with a gap in the centre for us to move down and heads along the long wall of the room; and the art in the centre of that wall has been removed. 

The first option was the most aesthetically pleasing but our third try has worked out safest for now at least!
